Hi :) I have a background in social work so am used to walking into all kinds of situations and interacting with all sorts of people. What started as a spontaneous purchase in 2019—a $50 camera from eBay—turned into a dream I now get to live every day. Not long after picking up that camera, I won an award, showed work in galleries, and was published. With years of encouragement from others, I eventually made the leap to full-time photography—and I’ve never looked back. Weddings are where everything I love about photography comes together. While I've been photographing weddings for 20 years, my professional career began far from cameras. I created NPR's first satellite news stream and in 2006, after I left the NPR world, I fell in love with photographing weddings! I spent the majority of my wedding career in Washington DC, and relocated to Cleveland in 2023.
