When we got married in 2007, our only regret is that we didn’t hire a wedding photographer. We had a few friends bring their cameras and thought that would be good enough. My love for photography began in the darkroom when I randomly decided to take Photography 101 my freshman year of high school. After that, I became obsessed with the entire process- working with light, developing the film, and seeing an end result. Fast forward a few years after college and trying to figure out what I exactly wanted to do, I took a leap of faith and decided to make this passion my career. This was made entirely possible by all the incredible people I've met over the years who would pose as my subjects and supported me to follow my heart.

My life in wedding photography started as an apprentice to a master photographer lugging equipment, loading countless rolls of film, and driving all over Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky for two years. I learned a lot during that period of my life and found myself looking forward to Fridays and Saturdays; not for the weekend off, but the next wedding! More than 1000 weddings later, I still believe the best wedding pictures are real moments, photographed in the most beautiful way possible. My photographs are complex, yet simple. They are romantic. Hi! My name is Steve. I do visual storytelling. I’m married with three kids and in my spare time I record music and build things. I've been filming and photographing weddings since 2009. I love travel and getting to know unique couples.

This is all a dream. In 2019 I bought a $50 camera off ebay just because. Almost immediately I won an award, started participating in galleries, and was published. After a few years of being encouraged by others, I made the decision to go full time. There's a lot of special moments when I photograph weddings and I get to be in best positions to see everything from every angle.
