I started my photography journey as a middle schooler when I was gifted my first DSLR as a Christmas present. I turned it into a real, legal business in college as a way to earn some money in my free time. Now, I am running an actual business in my 20's, meeting the most amazing people, and developing lasting relationships with my clients (which is the best part of the job, in my opinion). I am always learning and doing my best to improve, but am so thankful for the opportunities that photography has brought me and the connections that I have made along the way.

I truly love capturing unposed, genuine photos. The small glance that you share with your partner on your wedding day that no one else notices or the hug with your best friend or parent in the corner of the room during a busy reception-- these are the moments that I believe deserve to be documented and remembered. I guess you could call this a photojournalistic or documentary style. However, I know the posed shots are important, so I have found that incorporating both styles makes for the best overall wedding album. I work with each couple to learn about their preferences to determine whether they would like more posed or candid shots. :)
