Estudio Firlie

I’m Dylan, the photographer behind Estudio Firlie. I’ve been photographing weddings since 2019, and what I love most about it is getting to document people as they really are. The big moments matter, but I’m just as drawn to the quieter in between ones. The little things that make the day feel like your day. I shoot both digital and film, and I love the balance of the two. I want my work to feel timeless and honest. I will capture beautiful images that actually feel like you and preserve the energy of the day in a real way.

A big part of how I photograph comes from the way I see people. I have a Master’s in Violin Performance, and I think that background shapes the way I work behind the camera more than people might expect. Years of studying music trained me to pay close attention to expression, movement, timing, and nuance, and that carries directly into my photography. I pay a lot of attention to light, body language, and all the small details that can so easily be missed. My goal is always to create images that feel personal and artistic, but still grounded in real moments.
