“Black Walnut Farm is an unbelievable venue that far exceeded our expectations for our wedding. Beyond the incredible property, the owners are excellent to work with from your first tour to even after your event. To start, the barn and the surrounding grounds look incredible and are so beautifully manicured. So many of our guests complimented the venue. The staff also blended very seamlessly with our caterer. We used Bridge Creek Catering, who were unbelievably on top of it, and between the venue and the caterers there wasn’t a single hiccup. Sarah’s day-of coordination definitely tied everything together and gave us a ton of confidence that event would run smoothly. We rented a tent for our reception and had it placed on the main lawn. The scene behind us, wild grass and a line of trees, is absolutely stunning in our photos. And the ceremony space in the woods is honestly magical. The farmhouse on the property, where the wedding party can stay for the duration of their weekend, is so comfortable and classic. The MASSIVE fireplace in the parlor is so amazing. And who doesn’t love a hot tub? We can’t say enough good things about Black Walnut.”

“As a wedding planner and designer based in NYC for over a decade, I’ve seen a lot of venues—and this one is truly special. The barn strikes that rare balance between thoughtful design and genuine warmth. It has a refined, NYC-designer sensibility—elevated, intentional, never kitschy—while still feeling relaxed, cozy, and grounded in that unmistakable Hudson Valley charm. The space itself feels like a home rather than a rental: intimate, eclectic, and quietly magical. It creates an atmosphere that immediately puts people at ease and makes celebrations feel meaningful and personal. What truly sets this venue apart is that it’s family-owned and operated, and you feel that care in every interaction. The owners are communicative, accommodating, and consistently go above and beyond to support couples and vendors alike. From a professional standpoint, that level of partnership is invaluable. On top of all of this, the venue is refreshingly budget-friendly for the experience it offers—something that’s increasingly rare. It’s a true hidden gem, and couples who find it are incredibly lucky. “We had a vision, and Clinton/West Song Farm had all of the answers! We’re musicians and Deadheads, so the #1 VALUE of choosing this venue was the live band they put together for us and played the most epic setlist of NON- traditional wedding songs. This was a rock and roll wedding — every detail branded as a music festival wedding called JAMMIN ON THE FARM. The fates had it where we had PERFECT sunny skies and 70 degrees in mid September, painting the most beautiful landscape when guests arrived and took a hayride or leisurely walk to the ceremony under a massive willow tree. I walked down the grassy, dramatic aisle with my mom, and my twin brothers led the funniest, most joyful ceremony. The band played during cocktail hour which I called “Shakedown Street”, with a Dead-inspired VW van photo booth bus, flower crowns, custom merch, farm-grown flower decor, tap truck for drinks and more. Dinner and dessert were served in 2 food trucks with 10 options to choose from - I cannot overstate how much guests LOVED this format. After dinner we brought a cannabis bar, bonfire and dessert to keep the party going. Clinton invited me on stage to sing my favorite Taylor Swift song (Anti-Hero) and if you can’t already tell, this was the BEST wedding ever ever ever ever. Clinton made it all possible, and while it costs a lot to build your dream wedding, West Song Farm made it ABSOLUTELY WORTH IT!!!!! Do not miss out on this amazing amazing amazing venue and team.”

“My (now) wife and I enjoy the food at Alan's Falafel (Chester, NY) so much that when it came time to select a caterer we were very happy Alan's was available and worked with us on what we were looking for. We wanted to share the food we love and enjoy with our family and friends. We have been to so many weddings where the food was just underwhelming. Alan's did not disappoint. We still receive so many comments on how much the food was enjoyed and the People at Alan's worked very hard to make sure our day went smooth and we were left satisfied. We ended up having around 115 guests for the wedding and the space was just perfect! We had been to the Inn for dinner before and we knew we wanted to make food a priority. “Where do I even start? Our wedding at The Barn at Villa Venezia was truly a dream come true. From the venue itself, to the food, to the entire team behind it, everything exceeded what we had imagined. I genuinely would not have changed a single thing about our day. The entire team at The Barn is incredible. We worked most closely with Sabrina and Nicole throughout the planning process, and they are absolute rockstars. From all of the pre-wedding prep through the wedding day and beyond, they made everything feel so seamless. They were organized, responsive, incredibly helpful and always made us feel like we were in good hands. On the wedding day, Nicole was with us for the entire day, making sure there were no hiccups, checking that we had everything we needed and handling so many little details behind the scenes so we could just enjoy ourselves. The food was UNREAL. Our guests could not stop talking about it (and neither could we). Everything was incredible from start to finish, and the service was just as impressive. Their entire staff worked together so seamlessly, and you could tell everyone knew exactly what needed to happen and when. And then there’s the venue itself. The vibes were immaculate, the ambiance was perfect, and the space is just STUNNING. Every part of it photographed beautifully and created exactly the atmosphere we wanted for our wedding. What stood out to us most, though, was how much this team genuinely cares about their couples. You can tell they are invested in making sure your day feels special and that you are actually able to enjoy it. We never felt like just another wedding on the calendar. “Having our June 2026 wedding at the Farm at Glenwood Mountain was better than we ever could have imagined. After a long search for a wedding venue, when we finally went to look at the farm we knew immediately this was our spot. We were looking for a garden party vibe that wasn't super rustic and really good food. The grounds are gorgeous and the food that Chef Steve, cooks from the farm exceeded our expectations. It's been almost 3 months and our guests are still raving about the food and service. We also hired Candice to do our florals. I sent her a google slideshow with my inspo pictures and on our wedding day I was blown away. Everything looked exactly like my vision. The entire team was amazing to work with from day 1 but I have to shout out the venue coordinator we were assigned, Cristie. She went above and beyond to bring our vision to life and make sure everything went smoothly. From deciding on rain plans (luckily we didn't need), helping to review the menus I had designed, to rolling with it when I added a roaming caviar vendor 3 days before the wedding, she truly made our experience seamless. I would recommend this as a venue to anyone!”

But where the venue shines is the day of the event.  Cristie and her team work hard to help make your day happen and it was obvious the effort they put in to make sure your day is exactly the way you want.  They went over and beyond on multiple occasions to accommodate our requests!   I highly recommend having your next event/wedding at drowned lands.”

“I can't thank the team at Mountain Creek enough for being such a huge part of why our day was so perfect. The planning team of Colleen, Jessica, and Alyssa were wonderful. They were so easy to work with, answered questions before you thought to ask them, and when you did have your own questions always took the time to lay everything out. From start to finish we had a great experience with them. The day of team was amazing and truly went above and beyond. Suzy and Diona were the best to work with. I want to give a shout out to Diona in particular. She was my bridal attendant but did so much more. She also was the full day of coordinator. She was super prepared, had everything you could possibly need, oversaw everything, and truly ensured the day went perfectly. She was incredible. The staff all know exactly what they're doing, and have everything down pat. The venue itself gets truly transformed for weddings. The mountain top view for the ceremony was breathtaking and our guests will not stop talking about it, and the gondola ride each way. We also got so many compliments on the food. I absolutely recommend having a wedding here. Mountain Creek made our whole day so incredibly special and I can't thank them enough. Best day ever!”

“We were married on 5/10/25 & I still am beaming ear to ear about my experience at Minerals Hotel. From the moment we stepped on the property to view the venue, we knew it was special. Rachel greeted us and gave us the grand tour & made us feel so comfortable. Her bubbly personality and enthusiasm for the space and everything they had to offer really sold us. We fell in love with everything. I did not realize my experience would be getting that much better with Dana as my coordinator. She went above and beyond to help us. She answered any and all of questions, she gave me honest feedback, and always put my needs ahead of anything else. She’s a professional & a saint. My whole experience as a bride was made better from her being there for us throughout the whole experience. Our wedding day went extremely smooth & I don’t know if it would have went that way without her and her team. Our wedding weekend was everything we could have wanted and more. The minerals hotel staff took care of everything and made everyone feel so comfortable. I cannot tell you how many people are still texting us about how amazing everything was and how they want to find more excuses to come to this hotel & have another event. For the weekend, we opted for a welcome party for all of our guests the night before & offered snacks and a cash bar in the diamond room- it really set the scene for the whole weekend. Our bartender that night kept the drinks flowing and everyone had the best time. The late night snacks were really good too. We also opted for a farewell brunch the day after the wedding in the same room and it was perfect. The breakfast buffet is unmatched & was much needed after a night of partying. We got married in the Sweetgrass Pavilion at Minerals hotel and it was perfect. Not only is the pavilion itself beautifully designed but the staff were on top of everything. They made sure that everyone had what they needed (which was a lot for a 180 person wedding) and were so organized. Our lovely bridal assistant, Kya, made sure my husband & I ate, were hydrated and even had to do a quick tailoring job for me to make my dress more comfortable to dance in haha. The dance floor was perfect for a big dance party, the chicken roulade & filet mignon were divine, and the bartenders made a fabulous lemon drop martini (my choice haha) There was not one thing I could say wrong about the whole night. The makeup artists (Marisol and Leah) and hairstylist (Caitlin) that we hired from the salon at Minerals were INCREDIBLE. Every single girl looked absolutely beautiful. A big concern when hiring was seeing how the makeup artists worked on mature skin & hooded eyes- they knocked it out of the park. These girls are extremely talented . The cocktail hour was amazing. Everyone was impressed with the food (also Kya wrapped up all the food for us so the day after the wedding my husband & I were able to try everything we weren’t able to- it was such a nice treat) & the after party pool party was so much fun (I highly recommend booking the pool, your guests, & you, will love it…and the after party churros- everyone ate those up). After the princess treatment we received at minerals hotel, I don’t think anyone should get married anywhere else. Dana, Kya, Rachel, & the rest of the minerals team made my dream wedding into a reality bigger than what I could have imagined for myself. Do not hesitate, book this venue, you will be so glad you did.”

“Blooming Hill Farm was the first and only venue we looked at for our wedding, and we couldn't have made a better choice. We had the pleasure of working with Caitlin and Kate throughout our planning process, and both were absolutely incredible to work with. They made our wedding planning go so smoothly, and we were amazed by the attention to detail they brought to all our planning calls. They were able to provide so much guidance and had such great recommendations for local vendors. When the weather forecast started looking rainy the week of, Kate was so comforting - walking us through the rain plan, keeping us in the loop on all rain plan decisions, and keeping everyone's spirits high. Even with the rain on our wedding day, the venue was somehow even more beautiful. Getting to hear the birds chirping and rain falling throughout the ceremony was absolute magic, and the staff was so quick with umbrellas on hand that no one had to worry about getting wet. The food and drinks were absolutely incredible - all our guests agreed that it was the best meal they've ever had at a wedding, and people were able to try everything since they offer family style dinners. We did bring a few rentals in, and Kate coordinated with those vendors as well as our band and photographer so that we hardly had any logistics to worry about during the wedding weekend. We truly cannot say enough positive things about BHF, Kate, and the whole team - and we're so happy that we can keep coming back for meals at the restaurant!!”
