Historic "bungalow style" firehouse was purchased in December 2018 by Janelle Meyer-Brown, owner/planner of evenement planning. Janelle brought new life to the Firehouse by opening walls and adding some modern touches to compliment the historic elements. She has designed the building to be a unique event venue option that will make your event ONE OF A KIND! Oh So Charming... walk into this amazing firehouse and it's classic touches! original wood trim throughout, terrazzo floors, original wood lockers, 13 foot ceilings. Barnwood Events is 10 minutes from Downtown Madison next to the Capital City Bike Trail in a park-like country setting. This brand new barn timber frame building is built with modern amenities for year round events. The venue includes free parking for up to 170 cars and an onsite renovated farmhouse that sleeps up to 14 guests. The barn seats up to 300 inside and has 8 acres of green space and large mature trees that include several options for outdoor or indoor ceremonies and receptions.

Four Winds Farm is a countryside wedding venue located in Fitchburg, just 10 minutes from Madison, WI. The newly restored 8,900 sq. ft. barn is the main attraction suitable for wedding receptions and ceremonies. Four Winds is a fully functional farm focusing on permaculture and can accommodate both small and large parties year-round. The barn, which holds 200 people, provides thoughtfully designed spaces that can be customized to suit your needs. The Loft is the most significant space on the barn's second level and has been updated and restored to enhance the gorgeous long wooden beams. This area is equipped with audio-visual hookups and speakers. The Wagner House, located in the historic Wagner Print Building, is a three-story industrial warehouse in downtown Freeport, Illinois. The building was built in 1903 and was one of the first buildings that had electricity in Freeport. Established in 1853 and incorporated on March 9, 1912, the Wagner Building was home to the German-born Wagner Family who, like Freeport, has a long and interesting history. The Wagner House also served as an industrial manufacturing spot for textiles and fashion. For four generations, the business did not change hands, and the present Wagner company pledged to continue their record of quality printing and letterpress and are still in business today. In 2013, The Wagner building was sold to Bill Green to redevelop and re-imagine it, creating a wine bar, business incubator, and beautiful event space.

The house, known today as Reid Hall, was completed in 1908 and the family moved in on May 5, led by J. Ogden Armour, until approximately September of 1927. Many of the house’s mantle pieces, there are 15, and the paneling of the library reading room (or former living room), were imported from Paris, Vienna and London, including the marble dining room while the main walls are of Italian marble, the central panels of each wall have been painted over the plaster to simulate actual marble. It is also reputed that the marble staircase was built with the primary purpose in mind that their daughter, Lolita Ogden Armour, would descend the curving stairway on her wedding day, which she did in 1921, to John J. Mitchell, Jr. Eventually the property was sold to Lake Forest Academy where classes began in 1948. Today, Academy grounds total approximately 170 acres.
