Prevailing Winds Lodge sits amongst 44 acres of rolling hills, forests, and open fields. Your wedding day celebration will be infused with natural elegance and ease when wedding in stunning Blue Mounds, Wisconsin. Prevailing Winds Lodge can be used for intimate wedding celebrations.

-wedding/event planning assistance from the moment you reserve the lodge including reviewing vendors and reception layout -the ability to have a rehearsal dinner on-site the night before your ceremony -the ability to have a ceremony on-site -the ability to have a reception on-site (no size limit) -the ability to have a brunch, gift opening or final gathering on the day after the reception -day of coordination of all vendors and schedule timing -at least 4 staff people on-site -ceremony and reception signs -4 large capacity golf carts for guest and caterer transportation -on-site parking with golf cart shuttle service directly to and from guest vehicles -hardline electrical power for ceremony and reception areas All tents, tables and chairs come from outside vendors of your choice.

Our wedding event fee is a flat fee that ranges from $2,000 to $6,000 depending on the size of your group and your individual vision for your wedding weekend. You will never be subject to any surprise up-charges for the extraordinary services we provide throughout your weekend.

    Gorgeous views and hospitality await you at Prevailing Winds Lodge; Steve, Jen, and Karo are some of the best in the business. We love serving guests at this venue on the hill under the tent; the sunset views from here with good music, company, and cocktails are simply bliss! PWL is on-point before during and after events to make sure smooth sailing is had by all. The venue is photogenic with spectacular views and service, as the staff goes out of their way to meet your expectations and exceed your needs. We highly recommend them!

    Everyone involved in hosting at Prevailing Winds Lodge are the most amazing humans ever! Due to covid, we had to walk away our wedding plans in 2020. Steve and Jen, along with members from the Madison community, generously rallied together to host a dream wedding giveaway for couples dealing with this hardship. We were the lucky recipients and are eternally grateful. They made the whole process as stress free as possible and treated us as family from day one. Karo worked closely with us during the planning process and is a pro at what she does. The venue itself is out of a story book and the lodge is a home away from home. Anyone choosing this venue should know that the their dream wedding is possible. Prevailing Winds Lodge is the perfect place to start your journey.
