About this venue

Nō Studios derives from the wordplay between a rejection artist are so often told, with, nō 能, the Sino-Japanese root word for "skill" or "talent". Founded by Oscar winner and Milwaukee native, John Ridley, the desire behind our 40,000-square-foot headquarters is to create a collaborative workspace, hybrid experience platform, and social community that offers an environment for artists and activists to come together. Our historic building features offices, co-working space, a state-of-the-art screening room, performance stage, café bar, gallery, and rooftop lounge and deck. A unique Milwaukee venue We pride ourselves in our impeccable personalized service and the elegant ambiance of our renovated cream city brick building in the heart of the brewery district. From our intimate ground floor gallery to our vibrant rooftop with spectacular downtown views, our space has the versatility to make your wedding day one to remember.

The Gallery

Our first-floor gallery includes a performance stage, Café Nō, and a lounge area. The space has been transformed to house concerts, spoken word, artist talks, private parties, charity events, and more. Our café bar proudly serves Colectivo coffee and Troubadour pastries, available Monday through Friday, and features a wide array of craft beer, liquor, and wine. The space includes a rotating art installation.

$25/person, includes bar staff, bar setup, mixers, garnishes, ice, glassware, straws and beverage napkins for the bar. Nō Studios reserves the right to determine the appropriate number of bar staff required to service the event. Should additional bartenders be requested or required, a staffing fee will apply. Upon request, custom beverage packages are available. “Shots” are not included in tiered packaging. Each tiered package includes 4 hours of consumption, ask about additional hours.
