“We loved Blenheim Hill farm when we first saw it, which was under a foot of fresh snow, but when we returned for our wedding day (8/1/26) and saw everything in bloom we loved it even more. The place is beautiful, remote and relaxing. There are no sounds of traffic and the views are incredible. When guests starting arriving on Friday night everybody just kept asking us “where did you find this place??” Its truly beautiful! An idyllic place to get married. The Farmhouse, where we had close family stay for the weekend, is charming and comfortable. The kids loved playing with the goats, exploring and swimming in the lake. The adults relaxed and walked the property. The staff were helpful and fantastic the entire time. Leading up to the wedding, the venue had an online portal that organized lots of our wedding details which helped immensely with planning. The staff were very helpful with any questions we had. The food for the rehearsal dinner, wedding night, and brunch were all fantastic. They went above and beyond what most people expect when attending a wedding. Many people told us it was the best food they’ve had at a wedding. In fact, many people told us it was the best wedding they had ever been to! (We agree) A side note, we were worried about guests finding accommodations for the wedding, but everyone had a pretty easy time finding AirBNBs/local bed and breakfasts really close by. When we got engaged and started planning our wedding, we heard many people say your wedding is “just one day,” but it really is much more than that: it's the months of planning leading up to it and all the times you think back on it in the years to come too. We really enjoyed doing all the wedding planning with Blenheim's help and the wedding weekend was perfect. We will cherish the memories of our wedding for the rest of our lives. We’re sad that it's over, but if you want to invite us to your wedding so we can go back, we accept!”

““How did you FIND this place?!” We heard this from our guests all night long. It felt like we’d discovered a secret garden, and everyone was desperate to know the story behind it. We got married at Black Walnut Farm in the fall of 2024. It was the first venue we visited, and we knew it was "the one" the moment we stepped out of the car—even before seeing the full extent of the work that has since gone into it. Owners Sarah and Jim have created something truly special; you can feel the heart and soul they’ve poured into the property while beautifully maintaining its historical integrity and charm. Getting to witness the venue’s progression in the months leading up to our wedding made us appreciate the sheer passion and hard work they pour into every detail. Sarah and Jim's support made all the difference. Because of the diligence they showed throughout our planning process, we felt entirely at ease when the big day finally arrived. We knew we were in excellent hands. If you’re on the fence about the full weekend package: do it. Beyond allowing us to feel completely at home, it gave us the space to host welcome drinks on the grounds as a “sneak peek” for our guests, while keeping the ceremony site and the barn under wraps for a big reveal the next day. The day after our wedding, we had the whole place to ourselves when our loved ones left and we wandered the enchanting grounds with our dog, basking in the warmth of all the love and joy we felt. Black Walnut Farm is a unique, deeply human venue. We couldn't have picked a better place to start our lives together.”

We ended up having around 115 guests for the wedding and the space was just perfect! We had been to the Inn for dinner before and we knew we wanted to make food a priority. Chef Jerrel hit it out of the park for the rehearsal dinner, the cocktail hour/reception, and the brunch the next morning!
