Black Walnut Farm is a 34-acre historic estate in Saugerties, NY, where the Catskills meet the Hudson Valley and where weddings become full weekends of revelry. Settle in, welcome your favorite people, throw one hell of a party, and actually enjoy it all! Celebrate in our temperature-controlled 1891 barn with a four-foot disco ball, gather around the bonfire, and stay onsite in our 1747 farmhouse. 2027 Wedding Weekend Venue Fees are $13,500 off-season (Nov-April + July) and $16,500 prime season (May-June and Aug-Oct). A two-night farmhouse stay ($1,200/night) and 15% service fee apply; your welcome event has no additional site fee. Most couples plan for an overall wedding budget (including all outside vendors and services) of approximately $55,000–$100,000+. Our hospitality team is here throughout the weekend, taking care of the details so you can spend your time with your guests. We believe in great food, seriously good drinks, packed dance floors, and one more song.

“Just had our wedding at Black Walnut Farm in July 2026 -- it was the most joyous, happy, love filled weekend of our lives and so much of that is thanks to Sarah, Jim, our amazing coordinator Lindsey who works with the venue, Ariel, Travis, and the whole team at BWF. We had two days of events and everything went seamlessly, every detail was perfect and decorated gorgeously and with so much love and care. They paid so much attention to our vision -- even updating their late night espresso martini offering to chai espresso martinis for us! We can't imagine doing this anywhere else -- could not recommend Black Walnut Farm enough for anyone seeking a dreamy, unique wedding venue and wanting to work with an expert, compassionate, amazing team.”

“My women's education and networking group, the Women's Professional Network (WPN) held an event at Revel 32 on the evening of June 29. The venue is simply amazing! Beautiful, well laid out for any type of event. On the first floor there is a greeting/social area. When you climb to the top of the beautiful stairway, there is a small area that leads to a larger meeting room. There is a beautiful bar between these 2 rooms. There is also a larger room with a lovely stage. On the third floor there is another room and an exquisite balcony overlooking the second floor. The venue layout was very conducive to a networking event like ours. The hostess ( Judy Hannon) and her team were so hospitable and warm. Parking is readily available next to the building or in the public parking lot across the street. I would highly recommend Revel 32 as a venue for any type of event. Locust Grove Estate is an unforgettable setting for weddings throughout the year, overlooking the Hudson River that combines the charm of the 19th century with the comfort of the 21st. Our West Gallery, located in the Arts-&-Crafts style Museum Pavilion, offers a unique setting for weddings. Guests can enjoy cocktails on the covered terrace and shaded courtyard, then dine and dance in an elegant gallery with hardwood floors, a cathedral ceiling, and three walls of windows and French doors providing access to the estate’s 200 acres of gardens and grounds. The West Gallery comfortably accommodates between 50 and 150 guests for dinner and dancing, while the adjacent Garden Lawn may also be rented for a ceremony overlooking the perennial gardens. For your convenience, the rental includes tables and chairs, a caterer’s kitchen, air conditioning, ample restroom facilities, and easy parking. Locust Grove only schedules one event each evening, so you and your guests are assured privacy.

“Booking Locust Grove Estate was the best decision I made during wedding planning. The venue is stunning and yet so affordable. Locust Grove provides the space, the arch, and the chairs, but does not require you to book with their preferred vendors. Because of this, you can design your day exactly as you want it to be and within your own budget. We got so many compliments on the location, which is a Hudson Valley oasis nestled in Poughkeepsie, with beautiful gardens and views of the Hudson river. You get the best of both worlds with Locust Grove because your ceremony can be outside but the reception space is indoors and has AC. There is a Courtyard Marriott next door and a walking path connects the two properties, which was super convenient for our guests and saved us the expense of providing transportation. I could not recommend Locust Grove Estate enough!”

“The second I walked into Novellas when we went for a tour I knew that’s where I wanted to get married. The bridal suite was absolutely gorgeous. There was plenty of room to get ready and relax the morning of our wedding. I was able to connect my phone to the sound system so we could listen to music while we got ready. We had access to the bridal suite throughout the wedding which was great. The outside ceremony and cocktail hour space were both so beautiful. The waterfall is the perfect background for taking photos. When I walked into the reception space I completely fell in love. The chandeliers are stunning and the room just feels luxurious. Bryce, the manager, was phenomenal with communication. I received a response back within a day which was great. He was truly so flexible and there wasn’t much of a limit of things we couldn’t do. I wanted to get on top of the bar and pour shots into our guests mouths and I know it sounds like a crazy idea but you only get one wedding. I told Bryce that’s what I wanted to do and he said I could absolutely do that. That was my favorite part of the night! Novellas also offered the outside space to be used for the after party which was great. We ordered pizza from a local pizzeria and had that delivered and we brought coolers of beer and seltzers and hung outside by the fire pit until 2 in the morning. There are also two hotels that are walkable from Novellas because they essentially share a parking lot. That was also one of the reasons I chose Novellas. I didn’t have to worry about our guests not having a ride home or having to find someone to drive them home. Our guests were able to walk right to their hotel room. Courtney is the day of coordinator and she was absolutely phenomenal! She truly went above and beyond for us. She came to check on me the day of the wedding in the bridal suite multiple times. I was so anxious the morning of that I was just walking back and forth in the venue and I kept apologizing to her and she said whatever I needed to do and I wasn’t in the way. She set up everything for us the day of the wedding and it was absolutely gorgeous. I had given her a list of all the decor I had and where I wanted it and she set everything up just how I envisioned it. She was phenomenal the whole day and she kept everything running smoothly. She was on top of everything. We never had to ask for anything. When we thought of something or we needed something we would turn around and it would always be done or she would have what we needed. After our ceremony, Courtney was waiting with a drink in her hands for us and a smile on her face. This was truly the perfect venue for the best day of our lives.”
