“Melhorn Manor was truly the most incredible, perfect wedding venue. From the first time we met with Allory and Jess, and throughout the entire planning process, we could tell how much they genuinely care about their couples and their events. The venue itself is absolutely incredible. There are two beautiful ceremony space options- we used the outdoor space, an epic cocktail hour space in the old horse stable that is SO cool and unique, and an incredibly large, stunning reception space. There is also another barn that we used for the guys to hang out in, plus an amazing bridal suite and groom’s den. Everywhere you turn, there are gorgeous photo opportunities. The property has the perfect mix of rustic charm and modern elegance, and it gave us exactly the vibe we were hoping for. We also loved the firepit area - we brought supplies for s’mores, had guitar/chill vibes, and it made the night feel even more magical. There were plenty of great places for bars, too. We had one outside and inside during cocktail hour and then used the indoor bar during the reception, and the whole flow worked perfectly. Our guests were literally obsessed. Everyone kept talking about how beautiful, unique, and perfect the venue was. Melhorn Manor is stunning, spacious, well-run, and truly unforgettable- but what makes it even better is that the people behind it are the BEST to work with. We are so grateful we chose Melhorn and would recommend it a million times over.”

“This was the perfect venue for my husband and I! We got married outside in the apple orchard on 6/6/26 and it was absolutely beautiful. We love the tranquility and nature focus of the venue. Our coordinator, Tara, was super helpful throughout the process and on the wedding day. We hired our own wedding planner which I recommend to make the day and process go even smoother. She and Tara worked great together. We did our cocktail hour in the barn for 1.5 hours since we had a lot of add on stations and the owl and it was amazing. We also had the 10 minutes of alone time where we actually got to eat and drink before entering cocktail hour which was super nice! The barn is absolutely stunning. The reception was amazing as well. We added on an extra hour, so we could end at 11pm which was great. The food was delicious all night, especially the prime rib and all the cocktail hour goodies, like the bacon bar! Our day was so so amazing, and the venue played a big role in that. A few things we would change about the venue: you are required to pick a vegetarian option for plated dinner, which we were a little disappointed about, there isn't much space for the groom to get ready in, and you can't really get everybody ready on site due to the time you're allowed there and the space allotted. Still though, we absolutely loved it and highly recommend.”

“I knew from the moment we ended our tour that DCC was the venue for us! Terri greeted us at the tour and walked us through their newly renovated ballroom. My guests are still raving 2 months later about the venue and the high quality dinner and deserts. They REALLY loved the food. My church ceremony was 45 minutes away, so my willingness to travel that far between ceremony and reception is a testament to have amazing DCC is. I wanted a venue were I was confident I wouldn't be worrying about any thing on my special day and DCC provided that. I was able to use their table numbers, glass vases, and back ground arch wish saved me those additional expenses/decisions to make. Terri also offered us a card box, but I opted to use my own so I could add a lock even though the box was securely placed by the sweetheart table. Decision fatigue is so real but with Terri I never had any worries about my reception. I last minute decided to have Sean Reilly, who sounds just like Frank Sinatra, sing during cocktail hour. It was no problem for them to have a dedicated space for him and assist him in his set up. Their flexibility, understanding, and positivity was amazing. The venue is large with a lot of space! The cocktail area is large and the ballroom is beautiful. None of my guests had to wait for drinks since the bar staff was super efficient. It rained a lot on my wedding day, but Terri was super prepared and explained to me the adjustments she would make in the placing of the decor. I have nothing but amazing things to say about Terri and DCC and recommend it to anyone getting married! We had so much fun and are so grateful for Terri and her team! “The Manor House at Springton Manor Farm was absolutely a wonderful venue that I would recommend to anyone. Not only are the views breathtaking and the manor house is gorgeous, but the tent and ceremony spaces are perfect. You can really make it any way that you want and the venue is so aesthetically pleasing that you really don’t need too much decor to make your day look beautiful. Throughout the whole event, our guests couldn’t stop saying how nice the venue was and how beautiful everything looked. On top of this, we never had a hard time communicating with those who manage the property (Queen of Hearts Catering) and they always ensured that we were happy with the plan and how our day went. We worked with Kelly Tobin and we couldn’t thank her enough for how perfect our day was. There was so much flexibility and you could add features as you pleased to fit your vision. Finally (and arguably what I was most worried about) was the food that QOH provided. We got a Casual and Fun package which did not come with a tasting and it simply didn’t disappoint. The food was a great quality and there was plenty of it. Our guests also loved the cocktail hour and dinner and especially couldn’t stop talking about the mac n cheese bar! Overall, this venue was the real deal. My husband and I feel like we couldn’t have chosen a better place to celebrate with our friends and family.”

“This property was beautiful, and the owners were wonderful to work with! Nestled in Chadds Ford, PA, the BnB is right next to Longwood Gardens and within 45 minutes of King of Prussia Mall (for any last-minute wedding shopping necessary, as it turns out we needed!). The wedding package we purchased included the entire BnB (6 rooms) for the bridal party, as well as the grounds to host our ceremony and/or reception (we did both!). Brad and Cindy did an amazing job of making sure everyone was comfortable and enjoying our stay, and the grounds ended up being absolutely stunning for our wedding day. They also have extras available to add-on to your package, as needed (tent, outdoor patio heaters, pew seating, and a super cute shutter altar set up!). Normally, venues in the Chadds Ford/Brandywine area are super expensive, but this one was not only affordable but very worthwhile!!! Thank you, Brad and Cindy!!”

We worked primarily with John Alexander throughout our planning process, and he was incredibly helpful, attentive, and easy to work with. He answered all of our questions and never once made us feel like we were a bother. He truly made our planning experience feel seamless. John was also extremely informative and upfront about all costs and packages, which we really appreciated. We toured quite a few local venues before making our decision, but the moment we walked through PCK, we knew it was the venue for us. Growing up next to Valley Forge Park, I instantly felt a connection to the house and grounds. You can feel the rich history the moment you walk in, and the property provides such a unique and beautiful backdrop for a wedding. A big factor in choosing our venue was my sister, who has multiple severe food allergies. It was extremely important to me that the venue could guarantee a safe food preparation area and that my sister would feel comfortable and confident eating the food at our wedding. This was one of the very first questions I asked every catering company we spoke to during our venue search. Honestly, most venues gave us a “grey area” answer about whether they could safely accommodate her. One catering company even suggested that she “bring her own meal,” which was incredibly discouraging to hear. That all changed when we asked John the same question. I was expecting another uncertain answer, but John assured us with absolute certainty that it was not a grey area. He explained that they could prepare her meals separately and safely, and they absolutely delivered on that promise. They even made my sister her own plate of appetizer mini cheesesteaks that were completely free of soy protein. They were extremely careful and cautious with all of our guests who had food allergies and dietary restrictions. If you are on the venue hunt and have food allergies or special dietary accommodations to consider, I cannot recommend PCK and Robert Ryan enough. They truly took our concerns seriously and gave us complete peace of mind on such an important day. Brianna was our “day-of coordinator,” and we met her for the first time at our two-week check-in meeting before the wedding. From the moment I met her, I knew we were in good hands. She is incredibly helpful, efficient, and professional. She accommodated all of our requests, kept everything running smoothly, and always made sure my husband and I had food and a drink in front of us. She truly made the entire day feel effortless. As a more “Type A bride” , being able to put my complete trust in Brianna was priceless. I was able to let go, enjoy my wedding day, and have complete faith that everything was being handled behind the scenes. Bri is truly amazing at what she does! All of our guests raved about the venue, with many telling us it was the best wedding they had ever attended. My husband and I would have to agree. :) Thank you to John, Brianna, Robert Ryan, and all of the staff and people working behind the scenes who helped make our wedding day everything we dreamed it would be. Our fairytale wedding was truly worth the wait, and we cannot recommend the Philander Chase Knox Estate enough to anyone beginning their wedding venue search.”

“When I began researching places to have our wedding, we had 1 criteria: we wanted to have our ceremony inside to avoid intense sunlight and heat during the summer. I searched for places that could accommodate this and struggled to find a place where the ceremony would be just as beautiful inside as it would be outside. But then I found Stoltzfus Homestead! I fell in love with the Tobacco Barn, where I could envision a ceremony being so beautiful. The barn is gorgeous and the doors make for a special dramatic reveal of the bride. I also loved that Stoltzfus had two different barns, so the reception could be in it's own unique space and not simply a re-staging of the ceremony space. My fiance and I loved each area of the venue: the bride and groom suites, the lounge (something you won't find at other venues), the secret garden, and the barns. There were so many great spots for photos. Plus, our guests commented on how fun it was to walk around and explore the venue during the reception. Stoltzfus does a great job of managing the wedding day so that you don't have to as the bride and groom. We were very thankful that our family could just enjoy the day while the venue's day-of-coordinator made sure everything ran smoothly. Additionally, during the wedding planning process, the Stoltzfus staff were communicative and helpful. We appreciated their design consultation where we were able to do a trial run of our table set up and see how the decor would look in the spaces. We would recommend Stoltzfus Homestead to anyone looking for a wedding venue in Lancaster!”

“Since this was the 4th wedding for our family, having 4 daughters, we had a good idea of what we wanted and how we wanted it executed. During the planning session, we discussed with Jeff our needs and desires and with minor modifications he was able to do everything we waned in the way we wanted it done. This was in contrast to previous experiences where we had to modify things to meet the venues requirements. On the night before the event, wedding outside, reception inside, we were forced to move everything inside due to the weather. Jeff handled the move of locations without a hitch. When it came to the event the food was fantastic, the service was great and attention to detail was phenomenal. The cake supplied by the Inn was beautiful and absolutely delicious, with different flavored layers. All of this was done for what we considered to be a very reasonable price. We would highly recommend the Inn to anybody looking for a cozy and charming venue.”
