“"We had our wedding on Oct 3rd, 2025 at a new barn venue in Northern minnesota, Northwoods Events. It was VERY remote. Many other DJs said no, they either wouldnt do it, couldn't. Or their prices were 4k to 6k. Enter DJ Sound Productions. Our DJ was Luke! Our ceremony was in the middle of no where! They had the speakers with wireless mics for amazing sound out in the woods! The woods! It was our dream ceremony and location and they made it happen. When this went sideways with the time line, our DJ got things going, he played every song we requested, and guests stayed longer than expected! They were VERY thorough in the planning, and our final meeting put it all together! What an amazing experience and the ability to bring it all together by our DJ and this company, thats priceless, but they did it at an affordable price for us. Every penny is worth it and we are forever grateful!"”

Our band, LPE Snapshot was incredible and our ceremony musicians were amazing too! The vocalists were high energy and kept the whole event moving. They were great Emcess and they even added some special non-traditional reception activities for us. They were super flexible and played all the songs we asked for- even some very “niche” tracks we asked for during the ceremony. So many of my guests said the band was their favorite part of the reception. I highly recommend LPE entertainment! (I am also a musician myself so I’m very picky!)”

“Hiring Erica was the BEST decision we made throughout our wedding planning process. She was highly communicative, helping us select excellent songs for our ceremony. She made the moment truly magical. Then, during cocktail hour, she played and sang such a fun mix of pop tunes...our guests were reluctant to start dinner, they were having a great time and wanted to keep listening to her! Erica even brought her own sound system so we didn't need to worry about that part. I recommend hiring her 100%, you'll be glad you did!”

“My husband and I used Direct Entertainment for our DJ and videographer for our wedding and we could not be more pleased!! The team was professional, great at communication, very kind and professional, and they helped make our day absolutely perfect! Jeff, our DJ kept the dance floor alive ALL NIGHT!! When the music had to stop at the end of the night, the dance floor was still completely full and no one wanted it to end. He did a great job announcing the events of the night, made sure that our ceremony music was perfect, and he stuck to our wedding playlist with the exception for a couple guest requests (which we were happy to allow). We were so happy and thankful to have Jeff there! Sie, our videographer also did a wonderful job! We have not yet received our video as our wedding was less than 2 weeks ago, but I already know it is going to be amazing. He was so great with communication, was prompt with his timing, and he even set up a second camera for guests to break away and give us well wishes for our marriage, which I'm so excited to watch back. He was very professional and wonderful to work with. We decided to add videography at the last minute because we thought we might regret not having it, and I am SO happy we asked Jim at Direct Entertainment if they had someone available for our day just a month before, and they did!! Jim, the coordinator at Direct Entertainment frequently checked in with us, asked us questions about ourselves, and genuinely made us feel like he cared about us and our special day. He was great to work with leading up to being assigned our designated DJ and videographer, and even after, he checked in to make sure we were happy and that all of the planning was going well. “I found Mike via thumbtack & although on there it stated he was booked on my wedding date I thought I’d still reach out to him. I’m so happy I did because he put me in touch with our dj, thankyouteddy and he did an awesome job djing for our wedding! Mike was very informative and gave me plenty of information. He also has you do a questionnaire to help narrow down the right dj for you based off your music preferences. Mike will reached out periodically to follow up & also puts you in touch with the dj the week of the wedding to go over details. Teddy arrived on time and kept everyone on our toes throughout the night. The only thing I will say, is if you’re doing bridal party introductions it’s best to rehearse it if possible. Or give an exact time of the song for your dj to play when each couple comes out.”

“We booked through Steve upfront and he was so terrific to work with on initial arrangements. Our DJ, Drew, was absolutely fantastic! He handled both our ceremony and reception music, and everything was seamless from start to finish. The ceremony music was perfect, the timing was exactly right, and he helped create the exact feeling we wanted for the day. He used my Spotify playlists as inspiration for our pre-ceremony and cocktail hour music, so those moments felt completely like us and set the perfect vibe from the beginning. For the reception, he did an amazing job reading the room, keeping the energy going, and making sure everything flowed without us ever having to worry about what was happening next. One of the things we appreciated most was how much he cared about making the day personal. He worked behind the scenes with our officiant and friends on a few surprises, and those little moments ended up meaning so much to us.
