Rachel has been playing the violin since she was 11 years old, and has been performing professionally for weddings and many other types of events for over 25 years! She can perform alone, acoustic or amplified, or as a duet with one of her talented piano or cello-playing associates!

Rachel - violinist and owner/manager of MSP Virtuosi, not only offers beautiful, elegant, live violin music - she also strives to provide the best possible customer service leading up to your big day. Every email or text gets answered promptly. She can perform any songs you have in mind for your processional and recessional - with no charge to learn new songs. She can also perform along with a backing track (ideally played by your DJ) for your processional/recessional or first dance. From Bridgerton-style and classical music to modern pop songs, she is comfortable with any genre!

Basic Ceremony Package (No Travel)

Description

Estimated cost for a standard wedding ceremony with no travel outside of the Twin Cities and no rehearsal needed. Includes: 15 mins prelude, all ceremony music from processional to recessional, and 15 mins postlude after ceremony while guests leave the seating area. This package is just an estimate to give you an idea of how much solo violin services cost - there may be add'l charges for arranging special music for violin, rehearsing with other musician(s) or travel.

    Amazing

    Rachel was so great. We were not as prepared as we would have liked to have been, but she guided us through the process and was amazing on our wedding day. It was all such a blur but Vanessa cried when her music started playing and that’s the best review we can give. I would highly suggest hiring MSP Virtuosi for your wedding!

Yes! However instruments can't get wet - so we either need some kind of "cover" (aka a tent or shelter) in case of rain or your event should have an alternate plan in case of rain. An outlet or extension cord is needed to plug in a piano keyboard or amplifier.
No piano, no problem! Our pianist can provide a keyboard - all we need is an outlet to plug it in!
