“Gemma was great! From the very beginning, she was so easy to work with. She was very responsive and really listened to what we wanted. She listened to our concerns about getting some of our guests to dance and gave us a lot of great advice going into the wedding day, like adding dance floor props to get everyone engaged and adjusting our anniversary dance so everyone ends up on the dance floor. She worked with us and curated a great wedding playlist. Our guests complimented us on what a great DJ she was. Everyone loved seeing her behind the booth, dancing along with the guests. At one point, one of our guests dropped a glass and she played “Heart of Glass” right after, which was perfectly timed (lol). She really knew how to read the crowd and keep the energy up while still playing some of our silly requests. She curated a great mashup for the mother/son dance. My brother-in-law wanted to play a piece on a keyboard for part of his speech and Gemma worked with us in providing an amp so everyone could hear the piece. She even took videos during the ceremony and reception and shared them with me afterwards which is something I did not expect but was so grateful to have. I couldn’t recommend her enough!”

Ethan the owner was our DJ and he was professional, did a wonderful ceremony, and listened to all our requests. While we had a vision for music, we put a lot of our trust in him and he came through. “First and foremost I have to recognize the staff who worked the event at the hotel. Katrina, who is the event coordinator, was wonderfully communicative and detail oriented. We wanted to keep things relatively simple for our wedding but she had some great ideas to spruce things up a bit and helped to keep us on track leading up to the day of. The evening prior and on the day she was helping us set things up and made sure to keep our chaotic group on schedule. Not only that she was extremely helpful in managing the group, helping to cue and time our processions and intros into the dining room after the ceremony. She also added a personal touch to the centerpieces by arranging some fresh flowers we'd brought in and I thought the result was lovely. As important as Katrina were all of the wait staff and bartenders for our wedding. Jordan, Dawn and Dinnea took care of dinner service and Doug and Debbie tended the bar. We interacted with Jordan, Doug and Debbie the most but we've spoken to friends and family who agreed that the service was excellent. I want to call out Jordan specifically because that dude was constantly checking in to make sure we had everything we needed from drinks to food. On top of all of that he was just one of the most pleasant and kind humans we could have asked for to take care of us that day. We'd also like to extend a big thank you to the whole group as we had some late arrivals who came in during dinner time. The staff immediately noticed and without any fuss went over to get their order and get them served. We had opted for a Delmonico steak and salmon as our primary entrees. Note that because of the volume of guests the Delmonicos were all cooked to somewhere around medium. I can't vouch for everyone's steak but mine came out perfectly medium. As far as I can tell from catching up with friends and family during and after the wedding everyone was pleased and really enjoyed their meals. We also really enjoyed the atmosphere that was created. We ended up choosing the Orchid(?) package, if I recall the name correctly, which is their all inclusive package and I think it was worth every penny. I really enjoyed the up lighting and hotel provided centerpieces but I can see how if you have a different vision in mind then you may want to opt for a different offering. On top of the work they did in the space the hotel has a couple of outdoor seating areas, one of which has a fire pit, that were favorites of the group to take breaks from the party rocking inside. Ultimately the most important part of our wedding day was to unite our friends and family in one place where we could party and then not have to worry about transferring from the reception venue back to the hotel. As far as we're concerned Katrina and her staff delivered on this want magnificently. From the maintenance of the hotel and event space, to the friendly and thoughtful staff, to the convenient location for our friends and family; we could not have asked for a better venue for our wedding day.”

“I loved working with AMG Beauty Bar. Everyone was so easy to work with and I loved that I was able to schedule a trial with enough time to make a final decision. I loved how responsive AMG was and also appreciated the ability to text them since it can be tricky finding time to communicate with every vendor once the 1 month mark hits. I do wish we discussed the need for a 3rd artist at the time of booking, but Ashley Gallo was able to connect with me right away and guide me through since I am not a wedding makeup expert! She added ease and gave me confidence for the day of execution. I did have a trial with Mia Peters, and I let her know I was looking for something a little more glam and on the day of and she absolutely hit the mark and beyond. I couldn’t have been more ecstatic and excited with how my makeup turned out. I would highly, highly recommend her for your bridal look. I felt so beautiful and wish the day didn’t have to end so I didn’t have to wash my makeup off! I got so many compliments too from guests and other vendors! I also worked with Mia since January to contour my brows. I had Misha pen eyebrows that were uneven and thin. Over a matter of months, Mia was able to help me grow them out and choose them to perfection with an eyebrow pop service every 5 weeks. It made a huge difference since my eyebrows were the frame of my wedding look! Similarly, Vanessa and Devyn Gregorio also did a fabulous job with my bridesmaids. Everyone looked amazing and their makeup complimented their features. If you’re considering AMG - book it! I can’t thank this group of women enough, including the receptionist! Thank you AMG!!!”

“Gabriella was the single best decision we made when planning our wedding. If you’re mulling over who to choose, stop looking now and book her. It would have been enough if Gabriella had simply provided us with her stunning, high quality, unique, professional, and personalized photos after our wedding, but the experience with Gabriella goes beyond even that. During the wedding day, Gabriella calmed my nerves and even helped out with details like pinning my veil, fixing my hair, and helping my husband with his boutonnière. I was stressed about our timeline and other details, and Gabriella took care of everything and helped move it along. It almost felt like she was part wedding planner as well. Gabriella also traveled to Brooklyn for us and took the time to scope out perfect spots for our first look and portraits. I had assumed I might need to come up with these on my own, especially since we weren’t in Gabriella’s area, but she was a prepared professional through and through. We were also lucky to have worked with Gabriella during our proposal, and she fostered a friendly and professional relationship all throughout the engagement so that we were truly excited to see her again at the wedding. We were so happy with our experience with her and her second shooter, India, that we felt compelled to step outside from our wedding dinner to find them and thank them. Afterwards, Gabriella told our wedding story beautifully, and it was evident she was invested in the day and the photos. We have repeatedly heard from friends and family that they have literally never seen such gorgeous wedding photos. It felt as if she genuinely wanted to be there with us to share in our day. It’s clear she is a photo journalist - she truly documented our whole story. We are SO grateful for Gabriella, and hope you choose her for your day too!”

“Hiring Kat and her team was easily the best decision I made while wedding planning holy cow! I work at a wedding venue so I kept telling myself I got this I got this and right about 3 months out I was like nope I don’t got this I need to accept the fact I need help. With having relationships with a lot of coordinators it was hard to pick one so I initially went with Evivva since it was too hard to pick a “friendor” and I had not worked with them much but heard nothing but amazing things from brides I talked to. I immediately reached out to Kat and she hopped on the phone with us and got to know us and instantly we clicked and it felt like talking to a friend! Kat was our day of the Sydney helped as the event coordinator and Nikki was our event concierge! Kat held on to our marriage certificate all night, Sydney always had a water bottle on hand for my husband and I and Nikki was busy running around setting everything up for us. We had their A team for sure we felt so laid back lol I was so relaxed people kept asking if I was okay since I was just lounging around and I was like “oh yes I have the best team of people helping I’m just so at peace right now” and it felt so nice to feel 0 stress the day of the wedding after stressing for the months leading up! We loved how the Evivva team made a timeline for family, made us a packing list, and gave all important info in a beautiful shareable PDF link. It made it so easy to access and share with loved ones!! If you are second guessing hiring a day of coordinator, please please do and hire Evivva while you’re at it!! You will not regret it, absolutely 0 complaints!”

“We had our first DJ call with John Pitone and there was no reason to interview anyone else. From the very beginning he made us feel comfortable with him and he projected a confidence that all of our requests were not only possible, but would be easy for him to accommodate. Our wedding was near the 200 guest mark and when we told John that he responded with excitement and couldn’t wait to face the challenge of getting 200 people on the dance floor. He accomplished his mission because the dance floor was full for the entire reception. Throughout the whole process John made communication easy and was very quick to get responses back to us. We have no complaints and would not only recommend John, but will go out of our was to recommend him to our friends and family that get married in the future.”

“I cannot say enough positive things about Becki!! I got married in early September 2025. I ended up catching a cold just days before my wedding, and spent most of the wedding morning feeling nauseous, woozy, and just generally ill. Looking back at the pictures, you cannot tell at all, Becki is so talented she brought the life back into my ill face! She even coached me on how to clear my nose in a way that didnt mess up my makeup, she does it all! But seriously, Becki and her supporting artists (Kat for makeup and Sophia for hair) made everyone look and feel their absolute best. My MIL loved her hair so much she cried! I remember looking around the room while having my final touchups done and feeling all teary eyed because everyone looked amazing and they were buzzing with excitement showing each other their completed glam. As for me, I've never felt so beautiful!! Becki truly gave me the bridal hair and makeup of my dreams! I felt beautiful, but also still felt like myself! My makeup held up alllll night, despite our very teary-eyed first look that occurred with the first two hours of final touches (oops). The weather was upper 70s, and I ended up feeling very warm in my dress on the dance floor. By the end up the night my face frame curls had started to loosen up a little of course, but meanwhile my bun was still absolutely locked in place! Beyond her attention to detail and magic hands, Becki was also incredibly professional and friendly! We wouldn't hear from some other vendors for several months, which stressed us out a little, but Becki was checking in routinely. Her emails gave helpful little tips and reminders about prepping for the big day, and you could also feel her bubbly energy coming through the screen! We worked together to put together the hair and makeup schedule for the morning-of, and even that was cutesy and professional at the same time. In conclusion, if you have the opportunity to book Becki to be your bridal stylist, do not hesitate!! My best friend already snagged her for June 2027, and I have no doubt with Becki's talent, her availability will fill veryyy quick!! I consider myself extremely lucky to have found her and secured her for my special day!! I attached a few photos! Professional ones are by Imagery.LIFE, there's one of Becki and myself, and then a selfie I took at the end of the night, at least 12 hours after my hair and makeup were done, and still holding up amazing!! Plus the "before" when my makeup and hair were fresh!”
