Hey There, I'm SJ! I'm A Wedding + Couples Photographer Based In Pennsylvania. I'm so glad you're here and want to learn a little bit about me! I'm first and foremost a wife to my Rock and mother to our sweet daughter Lyla Jo. They inspire my creativity daily and are the foundation of my life. I'm so passionate about love and I adore photographing adventurous fun loving couples. My style is movement driven, specializing in authentic emotion and candid moments. My photos aren't the only reason my clients choose me, it's about the experience I provide.

It all started with a beach wedding and a highlight film. That was my first wedding I filmed while I attended Penn State in 2002. During my college career, I got to film for THON, Penn State Athletics, and I was a Blue Band Videographer for 2 seasons. After I graduated, I worked for Penn State Sports Marketing. I had the privilege to create promotional videos for GOPSUSports GoPSF, Bryce Jordan Center, and Beaver Stadium's scoreboards. This experience covering events has prepared me for what I do now, running my digital video production business. I have been filming weddings for awesome couples since 2014!

Ever since I was 7 years old, I told everyone that when I grew up I was going to be a chef. I grew up with that idea and never considered a back up plan. I pursued that dream and attended culinary school. Funnily enough, I never had much interest in baking. I wanted to be the chef and owner of a restaurant one day. After graduating and working in restaurants, I was crushed to see that a handful of places weren't sending out fresh, non frozen foods. So, I would go home and start baking, just for fun. It quickly turned into an obsession. Thanks to my family for the push, I am now here. I hope to work with you + create something special!
