“Getting married at The Lake House Inn was the best decision ever. The ceremony area by the lake was breathtaking—I felt so calm and happy standing there. The bridal suite with those views was perfect for photos and just soaking in the morning with my girls. The ballroom looked beautiful, and the huge cocktail hour area let everyone move around easily. Joe slayed the bar game, and the food from Jeffrey Miller Catering was next-level good. Having 18 rooms meant it felt like a big family sleepover—we loved it. The fire pit after-party was so cozy and fun. Marina, Kate, and Holly were incredible—seriously the best team. I’m already telling all my friends about this place!”

“We booked John with Power Play Entertainment for our wedding and are extremely happy we did. We did a lot of research into DJs during the planning process as we knew it was an important role and could mean the difference between a fun wedding and an awkward one. From the moment we talked to John on our initial call, we knew he was the right fit for us. Aside from reception music, John covered music at the ceremony and cocktail hour, microphones and sound for us and our officiant, lighting for our reception, and a custom monogram that turned out amazing. We had a few special requests from our processional song, to passing out glow sticks and other favors, to having a surprise musical guest for the father daughter dance and all were managed great by John. John brought along Guy as his assistant/our second DJ and he was amazing as well. Both were ready to make sure we had everything we needed for the entire day and were professional with how they handled everything. My husband and I were on the fence about getting a wedding video and looking back it was the absolute best decision we could have made. We laughed and cried watching our video and genuinely couldn't be happier, friends and family sent photos of them tearing up after watching our highlights video. Tag is QUICK - we got married on a friday and got our highlights video back the following tuesday, then got our full length video that very next wednesday, within 5 days of our wedding. Pat was a dream to work with, super responsive, kind, and so organized. Our videographer arrived early and blended in so seamlessly that we forgot we were even being filmed! Some of the most special behind the scenes moments were captured without us even realizing it. I can not get over the quality of our video, I felt like I was watching an award winning documentary. The majority of our guests (we had a lot) either didn’t leave the dance floor or kept coming back! As the bride I only left to cool off then right back out to the best dancing songs he was playing. He narrated our guys vs girls flip cup game and even judged (girls won by default). All around an amazing job and I’d recommend him to anyone looking for a fun DJ who isn’t afraid to lend a hand and help get the job done, even if it’s a bit out of his job description. Thank you!”

“Booking Carinvalè for our wedding was the absolute BEST decision we could have ever made!! Our venue had recommended BVTLive if we were interested in booking a band, so we watched one of their live showcases streamed live on YouTube. My husband and I enjoyed all of the bands that played, but one really stuck out to us, Carnivalè! We booked Carnivalè without even seeing them in person, that’s how good they are! When we did attend a showcase in person a few weeks later, they exceeded our expectations and we started counting down the days until they would play at our wedding! Working with Nils to lay out all of our options was amazing! He is the sweet person you’ll ever meet and so on top of things! Leading up to the wedding we worked closely with our band leader, El, to choose songs and create a timeline for our wedding. El and Carnivalè have played at tons of events and weddings and were super organized and easy going! Fast forward to our wedding night, El and the band were absolutely INCREDIBLE!! They catered to all ages at our wedding and made it a night to remember! I really can’t put into words how much fun everyone had and how amazing the band sounded the entire night! “Terrain Gardens is a stunning venue that perfectly catered to our every need. It felt just right for our wedding with 90 guests with both beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces that were easily customizable to align with our vision. We played lawn games during the cocktail hour and reception, and we were able to tailor our reception floor plan to create an atmosphere that truly reflected us. We opted to add many florals through Design by Terrain, but even with fewer decorations, it would still feel complete. The food was standout and was a highlight for us and our guests. The steamed broccoli hors d'oeuvre may sound simple, but it became a crowd favorite. The gazpacho shooters also were a hit. Our grazing table was not only plentiful and delicious but also looked gorgeous! The entree options were delicious as well and received many compliments. We found at our tasting there was a lot of variety from more traditional options to more experimental options so most couples can find something that will fit them. The venue took our guests' dietary needs seriously, accommodating our best man's severe allergies with ease. The late-night pizza and cookie favors were also a huge hit! The staff at Terrain Gardens was exceptional. We worked closely with our venue coordinator, Olivia, for six months leading up to the wedding. She addressed every question and eased all our concerns. On the big day, the staff was polite, attentive, and hardworking. Our attendant, Stephanie, made sure we were never without food or drink and guided us seamlessly throughout the day. The bar staff was quick and efficient, and our signature cocktail received rave reviews. What truly sets Terrain apart is their commitment to ensuring that both the bride and groom enjoy their special day just as much as their guests. After the ceremony, we were escorted to the bridal suite, where we were greeted with a delightful display of our hors d'oeuvres and a mini version of our grazing table. This moment allowed us to unwind and savor a few precious minutes together before rejoining our guests—one of my favorite memories from the day. At the end of the night, the staff thoughtfully packaged our personal items and provided to-go boxes filled with an extra serving of each of our entrees.”
