Ethan personally met with us several times to get to know us, go over details, brainstorm ideas, and ensure that he understood exactly what we were asking for, including a few decisions made only a few days before the event. He was also very accommodating to working with other contractors and staff, which helped our wedding flow smoothly in set-up and break-down. Ethan was great about working with us to stay within our budget and also has a free-standing disco ball that we felt brought a cool and nostalgic feeling to our dance floor. He also connected us with a violinist, Rada, that was absolutely fabulous. “First and foremost I have to recognize the staff who worked the event at the hotel. Katrina, who is the event coordinator, was wonderfully communicative and detail oriented. We wanted to keep things relatively simple for our wedding but she had some great ideas to spruce things up a bit and helped to keep us on track leading up to the day of. The evening prior and on the day she was helping us set things up and made sure to keep our chaotic group on schedule. Not only that she was extremely helpful in managing the group, helping to cue and time our processions and intros into the dining room after the ceremony. She also added a personal touch to the centerpieces by arranging some fresh flowers we'd brought in and I thought the result was lovely. As important as Katrina were all of the wait staff and bartenders for our wedding. Jordan, Dawn and Dinnea took care of dinner service and Doug and Debbie tended the bar. We interacted with Jordan, Doug and Debbie the most but we've spoken to friends and family who agreed that the service was excellent. I want to call out Jordan specifically because that dude was constantly checking in to make sure we had everything we needed from drinks to food. On top of all of that he was just one of the most pleasant and kind humans we could have asked for to take care of us that day. We'd also like to extend a big thank you to the whole group as we had some late arrivals who came in during dinner time. The staff immediately noticed and without any fuss went over to get their order and get them served. We had opted for a Delmonico steak and salmon as our primary entrees. Note that because of the volume of guests the Delmonicos were all cooked to somewhere around medium. I can't vouch for everyone's steak but mine came out perfectly medium. As far as I can tell from catching up with friends and family during and after the wedding everyone was pleased and really enjoyed their meals. We also really enjoyed the atmosphere that was created. We ended up choosing the Orchid(?) package, if I recall the name correctly, which is their all inclusive package and I think it was worth every penny. I really enjoyed the up lighting and hotel provided centerpieces but I can see how if you have a different vision in mind then you may want to opt for a different offering. On top of the work they did in the space the hotel has a couple of outdoor seating areas, one of which has a fire pit, that were favorites of the group to take breaks from the party rocking inside. Ultimately the most important part of our wedding day was to unite our friends and family in one place where we could party and then not have to worry about transferring from the reception venue back to the hotel. As far as we're concerned Katrina and her staff delivered on this want magnificently. From the maintenance of the hotel and event space, to the friendly and thoughtful staff, to the convenient location for our friends and family; we could not have asked for a better venue for our wedding day.”

“I loved working with AMG Beauty Bar. Everyone was so easy to work with and I loved that I was able to schedule a trial with enough time to make a final decision. I loved how responsive AMG was and also appreciated the ability to text them since it can be tricky finding time to communicate with every vendor once the 1 month mark hits. I do wish we discussed the need for a 3rd artist at the time of booking, but Ashley Gallo was able to connect with me right away and guide me through since I am not a wedding makeup expert! She added ease and gave me confidence for the day of execution. I did have a trial with Mia Peters, and I let her know I was looking for something a little more glam and on the day of and she absolutely hit the mark and beyond. I couldn’t have been more ecstatic and excited with how my makeup turned out. I would highly, highly recommend her for your bridal look. I felt so beautiful and wish the day didn’t have to end so I didn’t have to wash my makeup off! I got so many compliments too from guests and other vendors! I also worked with Mia since January to contour my brows. I had Misha pen eyebrows that were uneven and thin. Over a matter of months, Mia was able to help me grow them out and choose them to perfection with an eyebrow pop service every 5 weeks. It made a huge difference since my eyebrows were the frame of my wedding look! Similarly, Vanessa and Devyn Gregorio also did a fabulous job with my bridesmaids. Everyone looked amazing and their makeup complimented their features. If you’re considering AMG - book it! I can’t thank this group of women enough, including the receptionist! Thank you AMG!!!”
