“I hired Kelsey for my November 2024 wedding and she and her team exceeded my expectations. I honestly can't stop thinking about how good my hair and makeup looked the day of my wedding. I was admittedly nervous scheduling my trial because I realized the salon is not in Philly, but in Quakertown, which was about an hour drive. However, when I met Kelsey, I was reminded of why I booked in the first place - her personality is so warm and welcoming, funny, and puts you at ease immediately. I had the same exact reaction the morning of my wedding. I received hair and makeup services and my bridesmaids and MOB/MOG had their hair styled by Kelsey's associate. I thought everyone looked gorgeous and as this was one of the more expensive vendors I paid for myself, I did feel like my money was well spent. If you like full, full coverage with heavy foundation, etc I don't think this is the vendor for you. However, I think what Kelsey did with my makeup was even better because it looked so natural, but still looked like I was wearing the right amount of makeup. On top of my hair and makeup already looking perfect in my opinion, it happened to be snowing/freezing rain the day of my wedding and all of our photos were taken outside. My makeup did not budge! I touched up my lip gloss that was about it. My curls fell slightly because of the rain, but I was still very impressed my hairstyle lasted at all because of the weather. Overall, if you're on the fence about whether you'd like a professional to do your hair or makeup for your wedding, I would highly recommend someone like Kelsey who will make you feel like the most beautiful version of yourself and take the stress out of doing it yourself.”

First of all, she is extremely kind and courteous. She's warm and understanding, while also maintaining professionalism. We did a trial of my hair. The vibes were whimsical, romantic, medieval. I wanted my natural 2a/2b waves and curls to be at their very best. Casi worked with me to achieve what I wanted, while also being realistic. I appreciate that. We ended up really loving a little half up/half down action with ringlets and wispy curls. When it came down to the real deal, Casi was punctual, got it done perfectly, and honestly was just a good vibe to have around during a bit of a stressful morning! Overall, I loved my hair and loved Casi! Couldn't recommend her and Roots & Rituals enough.”

“I had such an amazing wedding day with Cheryl as my makeup and hair stylist. She took a lot of care and detail to make sure my look was exactly what I wanted. Even going as far as to determine when I should wash my hair so my curls would stay in longest. My make up is as exactly what I wanted and we got there because she takes time to listen to what you want for your look. I don’t normally do a full glam look, I keep it natural in my day to day routine, but she translated that to a beautiful wedding day look. She even did touch ups for me between the ceremony and the reception. “Cindy was absolutely lovely to work with. From our first interactions over email, she was responsive, friendly, and just really kind! I am not a big make-up person and was very concerned that traditional "wedding" make-up would transform me and make me not look like myself. These worries immediately went away after my make-up trial (included in the price). Cindy listened and understood what I envisioned and was super flexible to change things up until I was comfortable.
