We recently found an incredible venue and couldn't be happier with the experience! The views are absolutely fantastic, providing a breathtaking backdrop for our ceremony and photos, especially with the beautiful sunsets we enjoyed every evening. The event spaces are nice and well-maintained, offering a variety of different spaces for all our activities, from the rehearsal dinner to the main event. This versatility made planning seamless. The accompanying house deserves a special mention; it is modern, spacious, comfortable, and well equipped, making our entire weekend stay feel like a luxurious retreat. Logistics were a breeze, which is a huge relief when planning a wedding. There was plenty of parking for all our guests, and the easy accessibility to Asheville meant that friends and family flying in or staying in town had no trouble getting to the venue. Overall, it was the perfect location for our special day, combining natural beauty with excellent facilities and convenience. We highly recommend it!

Our wedding at this venue was truly unforgettable. After nearly two years of planning, the day finally arrived and it became the most magical, ethereal celebration we could’ve imagined. From our very first visit, we knew this place was something special, and a huge part of that was Lesley, the venue owner. She made us feel welcomed, valued, and completely equal from the start, something that was heartbreakingly rare for us to find as a two-bride wedding. Her warmth and sincerity were a major reason we chose this space. Throughout the planning process, Lesley was such a steady, supportive presence. Her recommendations from our florist to the chef ended up being everything we hoped for and so much more. It felt like she intuitively understood our vision and connected us with people who brought it to life with care and creativity. One thing we appreciated more than we can express was how she opened up the vineyard and cottages to us even before the wedding letting us enjoy the space, breathe it in, and feel like it was already a part of our story. Those moments made the venue feel like home long before we officially said “I do.” On the wedding day itself, everything was seamless. Her team was calm, organized, and genuinely invested in making sure we could just be present. The Villa is a spacious estate home that can be used to celebrate your big day. Its spacious lawn and gardens can host events for groups up to 75 people. Rental of the Villa for an event includes the use of its outdoor spaces, plus numerous photo locations on the 85-acre property. We can also include lodging in the five-bedroom Villa for up to 12 people, ceremony and reception furnishings, and day-of services. (We are there to support you through every step of your day!) We also have additional lodgings on the property in our treehouse cabins that can be rented as lodging. We love the opportunity to host family groups who use the whole property. We got married at Stony Woods Estate during the weekend of Hurricane Helene. This storm devastated WNC in ways that are hard to put into words. Entire roadways, bridges, and towns were washed away, leaving communities isolated and in crisis. We chose Stony Woods because our families and friends were going to be traveling from out of state. Stony Woods offered the perfect setup. In addition to the main villa, the property has several beautiful/modern cabins within walking distance. As the storm wreaked havoc on the surrounding areas, 24 of us, including young children and elderly relatives—hunkered down at SW for 3.5 days, waiting for a safe route out. Despite the devastation around us, we were incredibly fortunate. Stony Woods sits high enough up the mountain that the venue remained mostly untouched, aside from a few downed trees and the loss of power/running water. The property became a sanctuary offering stunning mountain views once the storm passed. These moments of natural beauty provided comfort and healing as we navigated the chaos. When the situation turned dire, Kim and Steve stepped up in ways we never expected. They brought us vital supplies—diapers, baby wipes, food, water, and more. Their kindness and support were a lifeline while there. We had planned for a wedding with 75 guests, complete with vendors but of course, none of that happened. We didn’t have our full wedding party. Even our officiant, had no way of reaching us/vice versa. We didn’t know if she was safe, let alone if she’d be able to officiate our ceremony. Amid the uncertainty, Kim asked if we still wanted to get married and if there was anything she could do to help. With everything going on, the thought of still having our wedding seemed almost impossible. I replied, “We don’t even have an officiant.” To my surprise, Kim told me that Steve is ordained. She reassured me that if we wanted to move forward with the ceremony, Steve would happily step in. The morning of our wedding, everyone on the property—including Kim and Steve —came together to make it happen. My stepmother did the decor so we had them with us, My SIL did my hair in an RV outlet, and my MOH did my makeup with whatever we had. We used a BT speaker to play whatever songs we already downloaded on our phones. I don’t even remember what song played as I walked down the aisle, but it was perfect. For our reception meal Kim and Steve made a giant batch of spaghetti over their fire pit since we still had no power/were running low on food. Somehow, they also managed to bake a wedding cake—SO THOUGHTFUL. Despite the lack of vendors, guests, and traditional wedding elements, our people came together to create such a special day – a true testament to the power of community and love. The cherry on top? Our photographer, Ashley Sieg, miraculously made it to us with no cell service and no idea if we were still having a wedding. She captured stunning photos that we will cherish forever. Kim and Steve were more than just venue hosts; they were our lifeline during a harrowing weekend. Their generosity, resourcefulness, and genuine care made all the difference. From bringing supplies to officiating our ceremony, we couldn’t have done it without them. Stony Woods Estate is a breathtaking property. But beyond its beauty, this place holds a special magic. On the day of, the entire team executed everything flawlessly, and we received so many compliments from our guests that the food was the best they had ever had at a wedding. Having Laurel Falls for four days and three nights was an absolute game-changer for our wedding weekend. It gave us the chance to truly connect and celebrate with our guests, most of whom traveled from all over the country. It’s rare to get that kind of extended, quality time with your favorite people, and it made the entire experience so much more meaningful and relaxed. From start to finish, the Laurel Falls team was incredible. Their communication was always fast, friendly, and detailed, which made planning from Denver so much easier. The setup and teardown crew was fantastic. They made sure every detail of the property was perfectly arranged for our wedding day. We used Ceremony Rock, the barn, barn deck, and barn patio, and each space offered its own unique charm and breathtaking views. We also hosted a bonfire the night before our wedding, and the team even provided the firewood! It was such a fun and cozy way to kick off the weekend with our guests. Every cabin and the venue itself came fully stocked and thoughtfully prepared, which was such a relief after traveling. From the stunning mountain views to the well-maintained grounds and comfortable accommodations, everything exceeded our expectations. I would highly recommend Laurel Falls to anyone considering it as a wedding venue. The setting is magical, the team is wonderful, and I truly wouldn’t change a single thing about our experience. If I were to tell you my true feelings about Twisty Maple and event manager Jessie, you would probably think I'm obsessed and I would probably run out of characters. So read this review with the idea that I'm working on 50% capacity here. Twisty Maple was absolutely, positively the best venue my partner and I could have picked to host our family and friends for a wedding ceremony and celebration. It felt like a home away from home, not only because my family set up shop and stayed in the house for a week leading up to our wedding; but also because of the warmth and care that guests can feel built into every inch of the place. My partner and I chose Twisty as our venue as soon as we had a virtual call and tour with Jessie, before we had even seen the space in person. We we so immediately at ease with Jessie, who already felt like a family friend, and could tell that she cared deeply about the home and property. Jesse and the Twisty team genuinely want to share the space with folks, evidenced by a willingness to host atypical activities (I was at one point convinced I wanted an on-site smoker for a whole hog and Jessie was totally game) and offering of a garageful of event decor at no cost (including signage, bud vases, candle holders, baskets, barrels, and SO much more). Leading up to the big day, Jessie graciously offered her contact information to my and my partner's moms for any logistical questions related to the home rental, which helped enormously in saving time and stress. We were greeted by a welcome sign with the names of family members staying at the home and a thoughtful gift basket with goodies for my partner and I, including keepsake Twisty Maple mugs which are adorable. It was so great to have the space leading up to our event for family time and DIY-ing and resting. I am so grateful to Jessie for sharing Twisty Maple with my family and friends. The space will forever hold such a special space in my heart and I hope you, dear reader, have the opportunity to make unforgettable memories here too.

Bent Creek Lodge, an Asheville Bed and Breakfast, has the best of all worlds for visitors to the area. The lodge is located only 10 miles from the center of Asheville or the famous Biltmore Estate; yet nestled in a forested triangle less than a mile from the Blue Ridge Parkway entrance and three miles from I-26. The lodge IS a remote mountain get-a-way. You can hike secluded trails right out your room door; within a half mile, you can start your drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway, visit the North Carolina Arboretum or launch a canoe on the French Broad River to float by the Biltmore Estate. It is only a short 15 minute drive to the fine restaurants, galleries, and shops in downtown Asheville, downtown Hendersonville, Biltmore Village, and the entrance to the Biltmore Estate.

We got married at Bent Creek Lodge on 8/6/22 and rented out the whole lodge and the Luhn house for ourselves and our guests for the weekend. It was extra special that we were able to get married here, because we actually stayed here the weekend we got engaged as well! It meant so much that we were able to return and share the experience with our loved ones. I am not exaggerating when I say that it was one of the most magical weekends of our lives, and it would not have been possible without Randy, Linda, and the rest of the amazing Bent Creek Lodge crew! The all-inclusive wedding package made it so insanely easy for us to have a top-tier wedding with minimal fuss and headaches on our part. We had our venue, lodging for all of our guests, officiant, catering, cake, beer and wine, and flowers all in a one-stop shop which made everything so much easier. The only things we chose to coordinate with outside vendors was the photography, DJ, and hair and makeup. Randy and his crew handled everything else, and they did an excellent job on all of it. All of the food was incredible, and they went above and beyond to accommodate our guests with special dietary needs. The flowers and cake were beautiful, and Randy did a wonderful job officiating our ceremony. Just about every single guest came up to us at least once during the weekend to gush about what an amazing time they were having, and several approached us afterwards to tell us it was one of the best weddings they had ever been to. The entire crew really went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and like family. Bent Creek Lodge will always have an extra special place in our hearts, and we couldn't be more grateful.

Something Blue Mountain Venue was our first and only choice for our wedding venue. The views are breathtaking and it is like nature herself decided to give the perfect frame for every photo. The owner Lisa is wonderful and really makes it incredibly easy to show up and enjoy! She gave the best recommendations for vendors. Recent renovations even made a fully enclosed bar area perfect for sipping and staying warm in the winter. We had 35 people and it was the perfect size even though 35 was the maximum number of guests. Overall, not a chance in a million years I would prefer any other venue. Highly, highly, HIGHLY recommend. Thanks Lisa!

The Horse Shoe Farm went above and beyond for our wedding week! We stayed on the farm with our family and friends for three days and every detail was incredible. There are no words to describe the love and gratitude we feel for House Boheme. The moment we stepped foot onto the property we knew this was the place we wanted to spend our wedding day at. Don't get me wrong the scenery is beautiful, the property is dreamy, and the decor is stunning but what sold us was Coco and Emerson. They have built something so special at House Boheme and you can feel the love from them everywhere on the property. From the very beginning they treated us like family and made every single step of planning a wedding stress free. I am not lying STRESS FREE. My piece of advice chose the venue, choose them (flowers and photography) and then TRUST them to work their magic because they will. There is not one single con or negative thing I can say about the venue, the property, or them. I choose them over and over again, every single time. Do yourself a favor and hire them, you won't regret it.

From start to finish, property tour to the wedding weekend, we knew Serenity Ridge was special. Having accommodations and catering onsite provided us the opportunity to be present for our wedding weekend. The Serenity Ridge team was effortless to work with and their hospitality above and beyond. The setting was gorgeous, sunsets, mountains, thoughtful guest areas. Guests could not stop taking pictures and raving about the trails and the cozy cabins. The Hilltop House was ideal for hosting the smaller meals, along with hair and makeup before the wedding. The pavilion and built in bar worked perfectly for our cocktail hour and reception. We did put the vinyl sides down, but they did not impede the beautiful views in any way. There was plenty of room for a big dance floor. Every space we used was sparkling clean and free of clutter. Our weekend included a mostly Gluten-Free menu, and the Serenity Ridge team knocked it out of the park. Our guests were thrilled with the options but also the quality. Delicious – every single bite. No exaggeration. An all-Gluten Free cocktail hour, dessert bar and wedding cake did not disappoint anyone who wasn’t Gluten Free. I would not hesitate to recommend them and am already trying to come up with another family event so we can go back!

The cabin was wonderful, and the land is truly beautiful. We had our wedding there in mid November. The venue itself was great too! It all being together was very helpful. We had 43 people, and it fit the venue perfectly. The vendor was really wonderful to work with. They were very kind, and incredibly helpful. We really loved working with them.
