Laurel Falls is a historic wedding venue in Asheville, NC, set in a lush, forested background. This location offers some of North Carolina's most picturesque scenes, from private waterfalls to soaring mountain views. This 18-acre oasis is plentiful with trees, hiking trails, and breathtaking vistas of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The Lodge was once a 1920s private estate renovated to provide luxurious accommodations for couples and their loved ones to reside in the tranquil woodlands. Perfect for couples looking for a nature forward wedding venue that want to settle in and spend quality time with their loved ones who traveled from near and far to celebrate. With exclusive access to our four homes with room for up to 20 total, event spaces and inventory from Thursday - Sunday, your weekend wedding experience becomes a core memory for everyone! A flat grassy lawn on top of a large boulder surrounded by forest trees. A lovely ceremony site with views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. A covered event pavilion overlooks the lawn and mountain view as well. This space may be used for your ceremony musicians, cocktail hour grazing and high-top tables. It's also an option for a covered ceremony location for an intimate wedding or a space to enjoy dinner with mountain views during your wedding weekend on property.

Our most common area for reception dinners!
A rustic barn with cafe lighting provides a cozy covered event venue. The space also features dedicated restrooms, speakers, a large flat textured concrete patio directly outside which is tent-able and a large attached deck. Comfortably seat all 75 here for a reception dinner. Dancing often takes place inside the barn or out of the deck that's surrounded by forest trees. The deck is also a popular location to have a bar and cocktail hour.

Everything and so much more!
Laurel Falls was the wedding venue of our dreams. From the moment we arrived, we knew we were in the best hands—Kristen is truly a dream to work with. She brings an energy that every couple deserves on their wedding journey: enthusiastic, flexible, incredibly kind, and the ultimate hype woman. Her support made the entire experience feel effortless and joyful. The venue itself is breathtaking. Nestled in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, Laurel Falls offers a natural backdrop that complements any style or vision. Its historic charm is intentionally preserved and beautifully maintained, creating a setting that feels both intimate and timeless. One of the things we loved most was how the property allowed us to shape our day in a way that felt deeply personal. Just to name a few highlights... - The lodge porch became the perfect gathering place for our immediate family during the rehearsal. - The barn transformed into the most fun and lively after‑party spot. - The lawn offered a peaceful escape with a quiet bonfire and s’mores for guests who wanted to unwind under the stars. Being able to stay on the property turned our wedding from a single day into a full, immersive experience—one we will never forget. Laurel Falls became the perfect “home” for the start of our new chapter together. If you’re looking for a venue that is stunning, secluded, thoughtfully maintained, and supported by a team that genuinely cares, Laurel Falls is everything and more.
The Best Mountain Wedding Weekend
The entire Laurel Falls team was so wonderful to work with! Super communicative and organized. They truly care about each couple and making sure they have the best experience. It was really important to me to find an intimate venue that we could spend multiple days of quality time in the mountains with our closest people and Laurel Falls delivers! The venue is stunning and we loved being able to spend the whole weekend there with our family and friends. The cabins on the property are all fully stocked and have incredible mountain views. It was so nice having several options for spaces to host a rehearsal dinner, welcome party, ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Every vendor I reached out to about providing services for our wedding at Laurel Falls had nothing but the highest praises for doing events there. Which I think says a lot about both the venue and their amazing team! Laurel Falls also has a good inventory of items to utilize for anything you need during your weekend there which was a bonus. We truly had the most incredible time and could not have asked for a better venue to celebrate our wedding!
One of a kind venue
Our wedding at Laurel Falls was nothing short of magical. From the seamless, organized communication process of the venue to the breathtaking ceremony site, waterfall, and rustic reception space, everything was perfect! The staff's professionalism and attention to detail ensured that our day (and weekend) was unforgettable.
Dreamy venue & experience
If you’re reading this review, I suspect you’ve already seen photos of the absolutely stunning Laurel Falls property from the long-range mountain views to the cascading waterfalls to the rhododendron forest to the well-equipped historical lodge and cabins. You may also be aware that you get the entire 18-acre venue and its 4 cabins for three whole days. These pieces alone could easily win you over. What can’t be captured in the photos is the quality of service, thoughtfulness of design, ongoing support, depth of knowledge, and genuine kindness exuded by each member of the Laurel Falls staff. Trust me, when planning a wedding, these things are VERY important, especially when planning from afar. Jordan, the owner, gave my then-fiancé and I the history of the property then took us on a tour of the property (and even did the on-site hiking trail with us). As we visited each area of the property, he helped us envision how we might use it for various weekend festivities. A wedding at Laurel Falls meant a long weekend with our favorite people in a gorgeous place and time to relax and soak in the whole experience - not just a single night that flies by so fast you don’t remember it. Despite my indecisive nature and this being the only venue we’d visited, it felt right and we knew it was for us. From this point, Kristen, the Events Director, was our main contact. There aren’t words to describe how phenomenal this woman is. Kristen is always so kind, helpful, positive, AND she could answer literally any obscure question I had. I reached out to Kristen to ask her recommendation on the ceremony start time because I wanted to be mindful of how the sun would impact the temp and the lighting at our chosen ceremony site. I expected just a discussion, but she blew me away when she also sent me the LF Pinterest page along with the names and ceremony start times of featured former couples married our same month. When I wasn’t sure how to arrange the tables and where to put the DJ to maximize dancing, she gave me insights AND shared layouts from other couples with a similar guest count. These are just a couple examples of Kristen’s meticulousness and level of support every step of the way. The Laurel Falls team truly thought of everything to make the wedding experience easy and pleasant. With the setting, we knew the wedding festivities would be beautiful, but the magical, memorable weekend wouldn’t have existed without the LF team. We’d choose this place - and these people - over and over again!!
