Being just two miles from vibrant downtown Asheville, it has easy access for guests who stay at downtown hotels. With four distinct ceremony sites, The Maple Grove takes garden and outdoor weddings to new heights.
      The venue is designed for small gatherings, typically 30 to 50 guests depending on the package and layout. Our focus is on quality of experience, not quantity. With smaller crowds, our couples focus on intimacy and interaction with each one of their guests. This has the added benefit of reducing stress and overall financial burden on the couple.
      Yes — The Maple Grove offers an outdoor garden setting with four distinct ceremony sites featured on the property. It provides a natural, serene atmosphere surrounded by forest greenery and the babble of a large creek. A pavilion onsite provides a covered space for the after party. Built in bar for cocktails, a kitchen for caters to use, and large spaces for a tent in case of rain or just to frolic and have a picnic.
      We have a large pavilion that guests may shelter under, also a small camper and the Bridal Suite has a large indoor gathering area.The venue recommends reserving a tent or choosing a flexible time window for the ceremony. Many small garden weddings adjust the schedule to fit weather patterns if needed. The Maple Grove Venue does provide a 20' x 30' tent in some packages.
      April, May, June, July, August, September, October, and November. Because Asheville is in the mountains of Wester North Carolina, all four of our seasons are relatively mild. Our Summers are not too hot, Spring is abundant with blooms, Fall blows you away with color and Winter, though it can be cold and snowy at times, overall is mild because of our location in the South.
      The couple must provide all beverages and food for themselves and their guests, unless they choose a luxury elopement package with a private chef. The State of North Carolina requires the couple file for a liquor license. This should be done well in advance of 60 days prior to the event.
      No, we are just two miles from downtown Asheville, so it is a quick Uber or Lift ride to our location. We also provide off-site parking and a shuttle driver for those not staying close by.
      January, February, December and the first half of March. By the end of March many trees start blooming like our Weeping Cherry trees.
      Not currently, but we have plans to build wheelchair accessible restrooms soon.
      Our base rental fee gives you a full day access to the property. The Bridal Suite is available beginning at 8:00 am, and the last guests should be off site no later than 11:00 pm.

      Booking fees for our facilities, and all payments made including deposits, are non-refundable. If you cancel your event within 40 days of your booked date, we’ll bill you the full amount of all estimated charges.
      Asheville Regional Airport is 13 miles from The Maple Grove Venue and 15 miles from Downtown. Taxis, Uber, Lift and rental cars are all available for transportation.
      Yes, we require day of liability insurance coverage.
