He is an exceptionally talented photographer. Doug documented all the moments we were hoping for, as well as many beautiful candid shots of us and our guests. Even with tricky weather (rainy day) and last-minute schedule changes (e.g., some family members not coming on time for group photos), he stayed calm and adaptable and delivered a wonderful set of photos that truly captured the emotions of the day. 2. He is skilled at working with people. During our couple and family / friend group portraits he provided just enough guidance to help us feel comfortable without anything feeling staged. This made us feel like we used the time together effectively, while making the photos feel natural and joyful. 3. He is comfortable navigating different cultural and religious contexts.
