The Lyric Theater Blue Island is a unique wedding venue located in Blue Island, IL. Established in 1917, this 12,000-square-foot theater has long been an iconic part of the town, once offering all the latest Hollywood films to starstruck moviegoers. It closed in the late 1980s but was recently fully renovated and reopened by the Garetto and Cantelo families. For both families, the theater played a role in their family history, and so bringing it back to life was a labor of love. Today, The Lyric Theater Blue Island not only shows movies but also hosts live concerts and private events. This one-of-a-kind venue promises a celebration you'll never forget.

Your loved ones are bound to be charmed by its flower-draped arbor & tall trees. The Covered Veranda is also suitable for ceremonies, a wonderful space that offers delightful views of greenery. You can also enjoy an indoor service in the Pond Room. Our main space includes a stone fireplace, wood-beamed vaulted ceilings, & floor-to-ceiling windows.
