She was easy to talk to and has a casual style that I appreciate, while still guiding us through the process and making sure we were on track with scheduling, deciding on details for the day, etc. Of all of our vendors, she was by far the most organized. The quality of her work is simply gorgeous and she managed to make us look much cooler than we really are! She captured all the candid moments we had hoped for, and we were amazed at how quickly she got through our posed photos so we could just enjoy the rest of our wedding day. My dad even commented, "Wow, I don't know when you guys had time to get all of these!" after seeing the gallery. We also had a laundry list of family/wedding party pairings and we got through them all promptly after the ceremony, without a ton of fuss, which is exactly as we'd requested. She pulled us aside after dinner when the sun was at the perfect height to get a few more photos, and they're some of my favorites despite only taking us away from the party for about 5 minutes. The preview gallery came SO fast (I believe it was within a day or two) and the pics were just amazing. I also requested to get a couple photos before our final gallery was done so that my mom could use them for Christmas cards and she was so accommodating of that request and sent them right away. Weddings by Hanel (pronounced like Chanel without a c) is a wedding photo & video studio creatively blending artistic photojournalism with beautiful portraiture. Our philosophy for photographing weddings is based on the belief that the most important part of our job is telling your story as beautifully as the story itself. Everything else is secondary. With hundreds of weddings under our belts, my team and I have been a part of weddings of all colors, sizes, and locations. Our destination weddings have taken them to some incredible locations, including Hawaii, Korea, and Aruba.

Although he is working, he makes sure you also get to enjoy your big day and not get too caught up in all the business--this was something we really appreciated. Him and his team will go above and beyond and make sure there is nothing you have to worry about. ALL of Hanel's work is beautiful and intentional. He even provides such a unique experience when viewing your full gallery once it's ready. My husband and I will never forget how we felt seeing all our photos for the first time. Our wedding is a day we wish we could relive again and again, and the photos he captured did exactly that. Hanel is extremely skilled, talented and is truly the best at his craft. She spent time getting to know us and made sure we were able to capture amazing, memorable photos, without losing sight of the actual point of the day and party we were there to enjoy. Multiple times she seamlessly adapted our shot plan on-the-fly to let us have more time to be with guests or have a moment to ourselves when she sensed we needed it.
