My husband and I love house music, and it was so important that the music played at our wedding was authentically us. Jeff absolutely nailed it and our guests had a blast, calling it their first "rave wedding"! In addition, the Photo Booth turned out to be exactly what I had in mind. The "glam" filter made everyone look flawless and the attendant was kind and helpful. Guests could print as many copies as they wanted. We received the digital files two days after our wedding and now get to cherish these fun images forever. Look no further for your sound and entertainment needs!”

We were impressed by their professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine enthusiasm for understanding our vision and creating the atmosphere we wanted. They recommended we work with Michael Ramos, and it was a great fit. Michael used the playlists we created to mix together English- and Spanish-language music, from a cocktail hour and dinner with indie folk, Latin pop, Americana, country, and more to a dance floor with salsa, cumbia, Latin pop, reggaeton, top 40, and 2000s and 2010s throwbacks. “I found MixMasters Entertainment through my wedding venue, and I am so grateful that I did! From the beginning they were very professional, and their planning portal was very easy to navigate to share our wedding/timeline information along with conveying our music tastes. Additionally, Chris is very quick to respond to questions and provide thorough answers, which made planning that much easier! Closer to the wedding we had a call with DJ Nick, and he was both professional and personable-- we had a great conversation with him and clicked instantly! We went over all of the little details in our call that way the wedding day went smoothly. It was also a great opportunity to talk about music choices and vibes for dancing, which were executed perfectly at the reception! And due to specific circumstances, he was able to offer us a great deal on uplighting and I'm so happy we went for it! It really transformed the venue for dancing and brought so much energy. On the wedding day DJ Nick knew exactly what to do without having to ask us questions and made sure everything ran smoothly on his end from set up to wedding party introductions to toasts to dancing and clean up. I also want to note that him and his wife Erin were very sweet to let my nephew (who's 5) "help" them with sound checks which I know he had a blast with. They/my sister had the idea of my nephew introducing my husband and I for the reception, and I thought it was such a sweet idea! And DJ Nick checked with me personally to make sure I wanted this change rather than relying on secondhand confirmation, which I really appreciated! And the dancing! We really did dance the night away in the best way possible. The song choices were great as well as the transitions, and again the uplighting really did bring an extra energy to the space which was fantastic. DJ Nick was able to read the crowd in order to change up song vibes and keep the energy up the whole night. I felt like I couldn't step away from the dance floor! And towards the end of the night when it was all the 20 somethings left on the dance floor the microphone came out and it was so much fun!! Again, everything that happened really fit the vibe and I could tell everyone was having so much fun. Nick also went above and beyond for us: a few days after our wedding he sent us a Spotify playlist of all the songs played at our wedding and a Google Photos album of all the pictures/videos he took at the wedding! It was a really kind and thoughtful thing to do. In summary: Chris and Nick are very professional in their work, are fantastic at their jobs, can pick up a vibe and immediately run with it, and in general are just very kind people. I will be recommending MixMasters any chance I get!”

“These guys were our first vendors hired after we secured our venue and we are SO HAPPY we had them. They are wonderful people and insanely talented musicians, and they are so chill, flexible and kind. Our first venue canceled on us 4 months from the wedding date, and they pivoted quickly and signed on for our new date and venue. They learned two new songs to play alongside two vocalist performances during our ceremony, and jammed out during cocktail hour before becoming our emcees and DJs for the reception. They even made it work when we had a last-minute rain plan go into action. My guests will not stop talking about how great the music was throughout the whole event. “The photographer, videographer, and photo booth was absolutely perfect and our guests had a blast! However, even after going through the work of submitting a Spotify play list and adding do not play songs or DJ played the wrong version of our first dance song (I checked and we had the correct version listed on our playlist we sent over), he also played songs from our do not play list to the point I, the bride, came over to ask if he had the wrong list. He admitted he was using songs from the do not play list as he was not paying attention. I would also like to note, though our wedding was more casual, our DJ was dressed in a sloppy manner. His shirt was half untucked from his pants, there were stains on his shirt and pants. Besides a few hiccups, direct Entertainment was wonderful to work with!”
