In 1988, Troy started playing music for school dances in Northern California at the age of 15, which inspired him to make DJing a career. In 1995, Troy started his first DJ Business "Real Music & Co." in Jacksonville, FL which was huge a success at a very young age. In 2006, Troy left his position as Cruise Director for PBP Cruise Lines and moved back to his hometown in Northern California to be closer to family. With many years as a professional DJ/MC and Wedding DJ he started DJ Barnett Entertainment.

I’ve had a camera in my hand since I can remember. On family vacations each of us had a camera and would come back with several rolls of film. It was great to see different perspectives of the same place. My photos became more refined throughout my childhood as I graduated to my stepdad’s Minolta film SLR.
