“Honestly I ended up choosing Sean as my DJ for the wedding because he was the nicest and the most communicative out of everyone I contacted. I thought he did an awesome job at helping me through the process. Sean even was pretty flexible when I kept missing my zoom appointment (sorry about that) and didn't make me feel bad about it. He was great when it came to choosing songs for the big day. He also had the timeline on lock and was able to provide some insight. I love that I chose to include the photobooth because we can go back and look at all the photographs which is great. Every one of my guests loved that and was excited they could get each one afterwards. The printer was super quick too. I didn't even know we would have a personalized print with our wedding date on it which was a nice surprise. The only thing I would have liked would be that when the bride/groom requested a song that it would get played. Instead he asked if the venue was okay with it which I felt like wasn't a concern since I paid for both to be there. That was my only note for future events. Rick Flare Drip never got played and it's a banger. Sean also had another surprise which was Audio he recorded from the ceremony which I thought was a cute touch. Thank you for making our big day a success.”

“We were blessed to have Pooja help plan and execute our incredible wedding reception at Viansa Winery in Sonoma Valley. It’s taken us a while to write this review because we found it so hard to put into words just how much we appreciate her. However confident this review makes you feel about Pooja’s abilities to plan your event, multiply it by 10! From the very first call with Pooja, we knew she was the right fit for us! My husband and I are both solidly type A, so we wanted to have a say in almost all of the details of the event. At the same time, we wanted someone we could trust to execute our vision, and make decisions on our behalf. Pooja showed an exceptional ability to balance listening to and advocating for our needs and wants, and to take lead when we asked her to. There were many times when we’d be paralyzed by choices such as what dinner linens to go with—all we had to do was ask her for decide for us, and each and every time she would choose efficiently and tastefully. Whether you are picky or simply want someone to take the reins, Pooja can do both and everything between. It’s the little ways that Pooja stretches past her job description that make her exceptional. More than a planner, she was an invaluable design resource—whether it was a mock up of a table scape or a Canva collage, these visualizations made it so much easier to see what our ideas would look like in real life. She also eagerly ran errands for us, such as picking up a vintage photo frame from Facebook Marketplace on short notice. Coordinating many vendors can be hard, especially when some want to maintain creative control and autonomy. Pooja approached every interaction with our vendors with kindness and respect for what they do. Rather than coming in hot and calling the shots, she builds real relationships with vendors and creates a shared purpose of executing the couple’s vision. We observed this firsthand, especially with vendors who were harder to communicate with—at the end of the day, Pooja got them on board, and it showed through the event’s success. Pooja fully lifted the stress off our shoulders, which is what we really wanted at the end of the day. Every weekly call with Pooja would dispel the constant stream of questions and concerns we had. And on the big day, my husband and I were able to be fully present and enjoy ourselves, knowing that Pooja had everything running like a well-oiled machine (she certainly made sure we saw none of the mess)! All of our guests had an amazing time and said we set the bar very high—100% made possible thanks to Pooja! We picked her because she's skilled at combining wedding and nature photography (we really wanted the beauty surrounding our wedding venue to shine) as well as capturing candid moments throughout the day. Some things that really stood out for us: • Super-organized: When we were trying to pick a location for our engagement shoot, Liz shared PDFs with photos and pros/cons of places around Lake Tahoe, as well as samples of some photos from past shoots at each place. • Flexible and accommodating: We ultimately needed to reschedule our engagement shoot due to poor weather. Liz had no problem changing the date the day before. When we both realized later that we'd unintentionally rescheduled the shoot for Easter, she graciously still drove up to Tahoe that evening for our sunset photos. • Made us comfortable: During both our engagement shoot and on the wedding day, Liz easily shifted from directing photos when needed to stepping back and getting candid shots of us all. “I truly cannot recommend Morgan and her team enough. We had the privilege of having Morgan as our month of coordinator- and WOW. From the very beginning to the very end, Morgan was there for us. I absolutely could not have done the wedding without her and her team, knowledge, dedication, thoroughness, love, encouragement, and help. Morgan was there for us to answer every single question I had throughout the process (which was a lot!) and made our rehearsal and wedding day flow seamlessly. There is SO much she does behind the scenes between timelines, vendor coordination, insurance collecting, etc- so many things you don’t think of needing to do when planning a wedding! She’s got it all. I remember feeling so stressed at one of our meetings, and she told me “I’m here to take things off your plate.” That’s the kind of amazing coordinator she is!! “If you're looking for a wedding DJ, book Just Fresh Entertainment! We had Larry as our DJ, and he was absolutely amazing from start to finish. One of the things that stood out the most was the communication. Throughout the entire planning process, Larry and his team were incredibly organized. They sent countdown emails leading up to the wedding, provided detailed planning sheets, and made sure every little detail was covered. It made the planning process feel so much less overwhelming because everything was laid out clearly, and I always felt like I knew what the next step was. On the wedding day, everything flowed perfectly. Every song was timed exactly how it needed to be for our ceremony, grand entrance, first dance, parent dances, cake cutting, and the rest of the evening. It was one less thing I had to worry about because they were so on top of everything. Larry also did an amazing job reading the room. He knew when to bring the energy and get everyone excited, and he also knew when to step back and let special moments speak for themselves. “Events by Lisa was an absolute dream to work with for our wedding! Her communication was 10/10 - Lisa was so easy to reach out to and the connection was definitely there. The quality of their work and value was unmatched, as Lisa went above and beyond. She thought everything through and even when little things went wrong, she took care of them so quickly without worrying me or anyone else. For example, Lisa made sure to call all the vendors ahead of time to confirm, and turns out one vendor had the dates mixed up, but she got that figured out on the wedding day without even telling us so we wouldn't worry. She also had extra makeup on hand which was so helpful for touch-ups throughout the day. I think everyone needs to invest in a day-of coordinator, and Lisa was such a life-saver - I can't imagine how bumpy our day would have been if she wasn't there!”
