I’m drawn to our stories. Our dreams are different, our paths are different but, hopefully, the reasons why we meet here – on this page – are similar. We are passionate about our lives, we love deeply, we feel deeply and we want to capture that.

Wow wow wow. Cannot speak highly enough of Marta - as the kindest human ever and as a skillful photographer. I am not one to enjoy having my photos taken, nor do I consider myself at all photogenic (I'm about as awkward as they come). She helped me and my partner select outfits that would photograph well. She took us to spots we hold dear near Moab and made them work artistically. She recommended how we could pose, though if you had your own vision she would work with that too. Her prompts made us feel all the feels (in the best way), and I am so impressed how much of our personality came through in the final product. She was joyful, gentle, encouraging and just a genuine delight to spend an evening with. If you're near Moab and looking for someone to capture your proposal, vow ceremony, elopement, wedding - or simply want to treat yourself and feel stunning - Marta's your girl.

Portraits by Sean was truly a blessing from the Lord for our wedding! Sean was professional, proactive, and communicative from the start, and approached our day with such care, kindness, and intentionality—it was clear he sees his work as a calling, not just a job. He’s not just a photographer—he’s a storytelling artist. He beautifully captured the love, joy, and sacredness of what God was doing in our covenant, and how special it was to share that day with our loved ones. I've been shooting weddings for almost 10 years. I often work with adventurous couples who look beyond what most of the wedding industry is selling and wanna start their own traditions. I've worked in huge east-coast ballrooms, on Mexican beaches, and at the edges of Moab cliffs. And I'll happily travel to wherever you're doing your own damn thing on your wedding day. I focus on capturing your favorite people in the world and giving you images that pull you right back into the feeling of the day. My style is natural, candid, and joyful, with some sassy editorial portraits and a whole lotta crazy dance floor shots.

Awarded Best of Zola
We were looking for a wedding photographer who would be able to capture the most special moments of our day and who would create wedding photos that were also art, and WOW did Cory deliver! He was so helpful both leading up to our wedding day and on the day itself - we gave him a tight timeline the day of and he handled it so professionally and still made every moment so fun and stress free. He was honestly such a fun guest to have at the wedding, everyone was talking about how much they loved our photographer! And the photos were just perfect. They captured the love and the fun of the day so beautifully. The photos were unique compared to other photographers but also timeless - we had an incredibly difficult time picking our favorites! We truly could not recommend Cory highly enough!

Big fan of dive bars, staring at the stars, forever searching for the best french fries, a blissfully cold Diet Coke, and a true midwestern why fly it's only 15 hours. You'll find me often traveling, spending time in nature, collecting rocks and shopping for vintage t-shirts. I love carefree messy in between moments, photographing my daily life on polaroids and film. I've lived a lot of places (Arizona, Arkansas, and Puerto Rico to name a few!) and have so many places that I treasure and feel at home.

Awarded Best of Zola
We booked Jessica Max for our garden wedding in May, and are OBSESSED with the photos! She is so talented at capturing the most intimate and candid moments without us even knowing that she is there. We added film photos onto our package and absolutely loved how they turned out. Jessica also captured polaroid pictures throughout the wedding that we got to look at the next day, which was so much fun. It's so hard for us to pick our favorite pictures to get framed, we love them all! Jessica is a true pro and an absolute pleasure to work with. We got a sneak peak of our wedding photos a few days after the event and received the full gallery within the expected timeframe. We absolutely loved working with Jessica Max and would highly recommend her to any couple planning their wedding!

So far we have worked in Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, Pennsylvania, New York, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Colorado, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia and Washington DC. We can't wait to visit more states and experience new places!

Awarded Best of Zola
We cannot say enough amazing things about Joe and Ashley! From start to finish, they were an absolute dream to work with. Their warmth and friendliness instantly put us at ease, making the entire experience feel effortless and fun. The calls before the wedding to go over details were incredibly helpful, ensuring everything ran smoothly on the big day. One thing that meant a lot to me was getting specific photos with certain family members and bridal party groups, and Joe and Ashley made that happen seamlessly. Being able to send them a list of must-have shots was such a relief, and they powered through it all while still keeping things fun and natural. Those photos will be cherished for a lifetime! And if you’re on the fence about video—DO IT. Having a beautifully edited video with sound clips woven in so perfectly brought our wedding day back to life in a way that photos alone just can’t. The way they captured every little moment, every emotion—it’s truly priceless. Joe and Ashley are not just incredibly talented at what they do, but they also make the entire experience enjoyable and stress-free. If you’re looking for a photographer and videographer who genuinely care, are highly organized, and will capture your wedding day in the most perfect way possible, look no further. Mae Krell Photo
Rating: 5.0 (14 reviews)
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $10,000
  • Serves Loa, UT

Hi! My name is Mae, and I live in Brooklyn with my girlfriend, our two dogs Apollo and Bia, her cat Gigi and my lizard, Basil! I’ve always been passionate about capturing moments as authentically and magically as possible, and as i’ve settled more into this career path, I love that i’ve landed in a place where I have the privilege to capture and preserve people’s love stories. Weddings and elopements are so distinctly and uniquely human, and it’s truly the biggest honor to be trusted to document them.

Awarded Best of Zola
I came across Mae’s work when looking for a photographer for engagement photos in Central Park, and I was immediately impressed with Mae and knew we were going to be incredibly happy with the results. Mae responded immediately to all my questions, day or night, and took the time to video chat with me at length twice before the shoot to discuss what we were looking for in our photos. Before the shoot, I had sent her a few examples of what I liked, and not only did the photos come out exactly how I wanted them, but were even more perfect than I envisioned. The engagement shoot itself was so much fun, and Mae made us feel so comfortable throughout the entire process, despite us thinking we’d both feel awkward getting posed photos of us taken. Mae truly had a vision for what poses, locations, and lighting would work, and the execution was perfect. Some of the feedback we got from our friends was that the photos looked like a magazine, and that they were “ethereal.” Even better, Mae somehow got us the edited photos back within 24 hours of the shoot. Her pricing is also incredibly reasonable given the quality of her work, meticulousness, and experience in photography, as well as the very quick turnaround time. My fiance and I truly cannot recommend her enough, and we are excited to work with her again in the future. She is truly an artist, and any couple would be incredibly lucky to work with her!

Capturing weddings as they unfold rather than directing how they should feel. My approach is quiet and observant — present enough to anticipate moments, but never interrupt them. The day moves naturally, and the images follow.

From the very first contact, he was incredibly responsive (super important to us), friendly and professional. His work looked great so we were excited - then we found out he was featured in Vogue! We were stoked. He was amazing to work with on the wedding day - punctual, friendly, got all the requested shots, and the whole bridal party loved him. We got our pictures back today - and they’re so much better than we could have dreamed of. It’s no wonder he was featured in Vogue - his work is artistic, candid, and beautiful. Thank you Caz for giving us such beautiful memories so we can relive the best day of our lives.

Hey there! I'm Eric, an outdoor-loving, laid-back wedding photographer based in the Midwest who lives for capturing those real, unfiltered moments that make each love story unique. When I'm not behind the camera, you'll probably find me hiking trails or discovering new local breweries. My approach blends documentary-style storytelling with a touch of editorial flair—meaning I'll capture both those candid laughs during toasts and those naturally romantic moments during golden hour. The best photos happen when couples feel completely at ease and free to be themselves.

Seriously the only thing I regret is not finding Tracy and Bill sooner to do our actual wedding day. We hired them this past summer to do re-do photos since there was a bomb cyclone on our actual day that put a kibosh on the mountain top wedding we dreamed about. Not only were the understanding about our circumstances, but they helped us figure out details we wouldn't have thought of ourselves. From being flexible and ensuring multiple day availability in order to make sure we got a great weather window, to their communication, to the actual sunset pics on the top of the mountain. It was a dream, and they even helped us figure out what hike to do after pics were done! :) We get compliments all the time on the photos and "stunning" is probably the most common word out of people's mouths when they see them. I was even in a coffee shop with a friend three months after the fact that I hadnt seen in those three months that as soon as I showed up, she stopped the group talk and told them all about my wedding photos, LOL. Please hire these guys, you will have zero regrets and a lifetime of looking back on amazing memories .

They made us feel like family, even though we'd never met before we started looking for photographers for our event. We loved their vibe, on their website they say they are "chill", but it's more than that. Their vibe is also funny, warm, capable, joyous, and willing to go the extra mile. The highlight reel was like a mini movie of the best day ever—we’ve already watched it a million times! The whole experience was just fun and stress-free, thanks to their good vibes and clear communication. They really listened to what we wanted and made sure we felt comfortable and relaxed. Thank you guys !

I have always loved the outdoors. You can find me hiking mountain passes, rock climbing, planning another trip to Mexico, nose buried in some travel guides, looking up cheap flights to Australia, or off on some crazy 3 week long road trip to the Canadian Rockies with my cousins. I will help guide you through the entire process of planning an amazing experience. You can trust me with your wedding day dreams & will give you my all in planning out every little detail for your elopement.

Malachi was phenomenal. Choosing him for our adventure elopement/micro wedding ended up being far more meaningful than simply hiring a photographer (though he’s an extraordinarily gifted one). At first, his photos drew us in (especially his breathtaking night sky star shots, one of his specialties). But what sealed the deal was his professionalism, warmth, kindness, and overall expertise. It was immediately clear that working with him would ensure the wedding experience we had always dreamed of. His photos are nothing short of spectacular. We honestly doubted ours could live up to the stunning examples he shared, yet somehow he managed to make ours even more incredible. From starry night portraits to vast landscapes, intimate candid moments, and detailed close-ups, he’s a true master of his art. In every environment he has a creative vision, and following it allows him to capture moments that feel both authentic and magical. And even in rugged locations, he ensures you feel safe. From our first Zoom chat to planning meetings and emails along the way, his communication was consistently clear, timely, and helpful. His website, client portal, and custom PDF guides are beautifully designed and immensely useful. Despite a packed travel calendar, he always made time for quick calls when we needed to go over plans or ask questions. He strikes the perfect balance, offering direction when you want it but also stepping back to let you take the lead when you prefer. A big part of what makes his process so seamless is how intentional it is. We filled out several fun and thoughtful questionnaires that helped all of us clarify the intended vision for our day. Afterward, he sent a personalized location list tailored to our preferences. From this, we selected the perfect ceremony spot and a few additional photo locations. One of Malachi’s greatest strengths is his deep familiarity with the outdoors and his ability to uncover incredible, lesser-known locations for ceremonies and portraits. He’s constantly exploring and expanding his list of amazing spots so that every couple can craft a day that’s uniquely theirs. In our case, we wanted to visit several different landscapes over multiple days, including places accessible for our grandparents while still feeling remote and private, and Malachi made it all happen seamlessly. Above all though, his most valuable quality is simply who he is. Malachi is kind, easygoing, thoughtful, and genuinely fun to spend time with. For an elopement or intimate gathering, that matters so much. From the moment we met up with him in Utah, it felt like a friend had joined us, not just someone we’d hired. Traveling between photo spots and having him at our family dinner felt natural and fun. By the end of the day, every family member had connected with him. He’s a rare and wonderful person. One especially moving example was that during a short break between our morning and afternoon activities, he managed to fully edit and create a stunning preview slideshow/album of our photos from that day, which he surprised us with during pre-dinner happy hour. It brought us to tears and was such a great way to start the evening. In short: we recommend Malachi wholeheartedly and without any reservations. Whether you’re planning an adventure elopement, a micro wedding, or something entirely unique, he’ll make it happen and will surpass your every expectation. Working with him was an absolute joy. He’s truly one of a kind.
