If I could give 10 stars I would! I cannot say enough good things about the Inn at Leola Village! From the moment we booked them I felt supported and cared for. Stephanie was our coordinator and made sure every detail was perfect. She answered all my questions along the way (which was a lot haha). The whole team at Leola was kind, professional, communicated clearly and detail oriented. Also, the food was absolutely amazing, our family and friends raved about it! It was the best wedding food we ever had, it was like high-end restaurant quality food!! Stephanie and her team worked with my other vendors like DJ, and photographer to ensure everything ran smoothly, which it did! The florist at Leola is also great! Everything they did was beautiful and exactly what I described to them. Every detail was literally perfect on my wedding day and I couldn't be more thankful! I loved that our guests could book a room at the Inn so no one had to drive after the reception. The Inn at Leola Village definitely stands out as a top notch wedding venue, I highly recommend them!! We will be spending many anniversaries here as well!

Drumore Mill was an absolutely stunning venue to use for our special day (really weekend). We loved the ease of booking the venue, touring with Thuy, and the promptness and flexibility they offer. An added bonus is the available on site lodging for rental, which we made great use of for our close friends, family, and wedding party to stay in the night before and night of the wedding. We enjoyed the Great Room in the Grist Mill for our rehearsal dinner. Our guests loved how spacious Drumore Mill was, and we appreciated all the attention to detail such as included (but still optional) decor and greenery, and the setup of chairs and other items for the ceremony space. Being able to bring in all of our own vendors at no additional cost was fantastic. The value for renting the property from Thursday to Saturday morning was unmatched and completely worth it. We would recommend Drumore Mill to anyone, and we look forward to booking the property in the future for non-wedding related stays with friends and family.

We had a spectacular experience having our wedding at The Tannery Barn. From the moment we toured, we could see the vision of our big day taking shape, and knew that it had to be there. We chose to rent the space for all of Saturday, and having the bridal suite, the historic barn, and the Airbnb next door for our parties to hang out and get ready made for a really laid back and memorable experience. We cannot speak highly enough about Mark, who served as our wedding coordinator. Even though he was new and came on board about 4 months prior to the wedding, he gave us 110% of his attention and energy. He provided helpful opinions when we needed them as someone with decades of experience, and always knew how to assuage our concerns. On the day of the wedding, everything ran flawlessly. We’ve had multiple guests tell us it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to. The space looked fantastic, the flowers on the grounds were beautiful…I don’t know where to stop! All we can say is thank you so much to the Tannery Barn staff for helping us create the best wedding we could have possibly imagined. We are so grateful.

From our first conversation with Connie, we knew Battlefield Bed & Breakfast was the right choice for our wedding. She was responsive, professional, and treated us like family throughout the entire planning process. The venue itself has this incredible historic charm and serene atmosphere that made our day feel truly special. We had a spring wedding and everything bloomed so beautifully for our garden ceremony! What really set them apart was how they handled all the details. We used their decor library and they set almost everything up for us, which took so much stress off our plate on the wedding day. We decided to do the 2-day package and honestly, we can't recommend it enough if you want time to enjoy your guests instead of rushing around. Plus, it was nice to have everything in one location (rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, welcome drinks, wedding, and breakfast for the day after). There was no stress about transportation to different locations. Connie and the whole team went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, and the result was a wedding day we'll never forget!! Connie in particular is a superstar! She was always running around and making sure our day ran as smooth as possible. If there were any hiccups I couldn't tell and am so grateful to be able to enjoy our wedding day at this venue :)

Having our wedding at Hazelwood was one of the best decisions we made - and boy was it fate! As we started wedding planning as two non-native Pennsylvanians, we had no clue where we were going to have our wedding. A friend from church said, "Hey I don't know if you are still looking for a venue, but my high school english teacher owns one out in New Oxford. She is awesome and is super affirming and the venue looks great if you ever wanted to check it out." We went home and looked at the website and were instantly hooked. We got in contact with Kate and Adam, set up a tour and got all of the lovely planning resources that were so helpful to our process. Hazelwood was the first venue we toured. Kate was so kind and meeting her felt like catching up with an old friend. As a queer couple, Kate and Adam were so so affirming and told us that we would never see the words "groom" on our contracts or have to worry about any of the vendors. We walked away from the tour thinking "Did we just find our venue???? No we couldn't have, it was only the first tour..." Well, we went to one other place and immediately texted Kate and Adam saying "So what date's do you have??" Hazelwood was the perfect blank canvas to make the colors of our day pop! The partnership they have with Blake Events was SO SO helpful especially as people who lived 2.5 hours away and did not know any vendors in the area. Their catering partners were so diverse in food and budget and it allowed us to choose what was best for us. The day of, everything was utterly perfect. We did not have to worry about a thing! We were able to just be present in our day and soak it all in. The Hazelwood and Blake Events team made sure we were handed food and drinks the minute we walked up the aisle. They made sure that we got what we wanted out of our day. We cannot recommend Hazelwood enough to people. It was so perfect, there was never a worry about weather or space or anything going wrong. We knew that we had the best venue and the best team to make it all perfect and they did. We are forever grateful for the way the fates aligned and for Kate teaching high school English! We could not have had a more perfect day.

Why you'll love this venue

We booked a tour with Cold Saturday Farm on a whim, but holy cow am I glad that we did! We met with Brittany on a pretty dreary day in the winter, and even then I could see the beauty in the venue. It truly is a blank canvas that you can really make your own. Plus, the venue checked all the boxes that were super important to us: onsite getting ready spaces for both us, free onsite parking, guest tables and chairs included, and access to the venue all day. For the price, it was a great value. Brittany did end up leaving Cold Saturday, and we do wish that had been proactively communicated to us, but her replacement, Meredith, was fantastic, especially because she started the week before our wedding (I'm pretty sure we were her first wedding at the venue). But she was incredibly helpful and friendly--we actually had guests come up to us and tell us how awesome she was! The only other thing I wish we had known ahead of time was that the getting ready room the guys used didn't have any furniture. It was still being worked on during our tours, so we didn't actually see the room until the day of. So the room may have furniture at some point. Overall, we loved Cold Saturday Farm. It is truly a hidden gem (none of our vendors have ever worked there before but all of them said they loved it), so I really love that it was a pretty unique and beautiful place to have our wedding.

Here they settled and built their family home, while farming and harvesting the surrounding land. The Thomas family has continuously worked to restore and bring the property back to life. We are honored to have such a beautiful and historic piece of history still within the family to share with you for your special day.

The staff at the Granary went above and beyond to make sure things went smoothly. We actually ended up needing to move our ceremony to a different area of the Granary hours before we were to start due to weather which caused us (bride and groom) to panic slightly but the staff went above and beyond to get it figured out and set up and it ended up phenomenal and none of the guests even knew. Everyone complimented us on how beautiful everything was and how smooth the transition went! The Thomas family jumped in to help wherever it was needed. The entire property is beautiful and there are so many different options for pictures! Would highly recommend to anyone!

We had our wedding at Caboose Farm on October 25, 2025, and it was truly the most perfect day. One of the biggest reasons we chose this venue was the layout and how relaxed and easy everything felt from the start. We rented five of the houses on the property for the weekend, which allowed our families to stay together in big groups. It made the entire experience feel like a getaway, and having our house right next door to the event space was incredibly convenient. We rented the property for Friday and Saturday, held our rehearsal on Friday, and our wedding on Saturday. We had access to the event barn both days without any issues, which made setting up and settling in stress free. Our ceremony was in the woods, and it felt like something out of a dream. The foliage was beautiful and made for amazing pictures. Guests could walk or take the tractor wagon to the ceremony spot, which everyone loved. We added blankets to the wagon, and guests brought their drinks for a fun ride out. They also recently added a field of wildflowers on the property, and some of my favorite photos were taken there. A golf cart was available to help two of our guests who needed extra support get to and from the ceremony site comfortably. Cocktail hour was outside on the terrace that is connected to the event barn. The hanging lights made it feel romantic and cozy, and guests could step inside if they got chilly. The bar area and theatre room were right inside through a double door, and the theatre room was perfect for playing a slideshow of us. We were also able to have our dogs with us both days, which meant so much. Colby, the property manager, was incredible from start to finish. He made sure we were taken care of and that everything ran smoothly. The staff were also incredibly kind and helpful, which made the whole weekend feel effortless. Any time a small question or worry came up, Colby stepped in and handled it. I remember talking through whether our caterer needed to pre cut fruit for our specialty cocktails, and he immediately said their bartender could take care of it the night before. He also kept an eye on the weather and checked in with me about moving our rehearsal dinner indoors if needed. Little things like that helped me get through the weekend with so much less stress. The venue provided the ceremony arch, coolers for pre ceremony drinks, all the tables, chairs, linens, and napkins. We had 113 guests, and the indoor reception space fit everyone perfectly without feeling tight or crowded. Everything from the rehearsal dinner to the ceremony to cocktail hour to the reception flowed beautifully. Caboose Farm gave us a wedding weekend we will never forget, and I truly cannot recommend it highly enough.

Walkers Overlook

Enjoy everything the farm has to offer! Walker's Overlook is the founding venue in the Overlooks family. We are very proud of our farm; the charm of the treelined drive, the stone house, and the allure of photographs in front of the vintage car which has been in the family for generations. We are excited to meet you and delighted to help you plan your perfect day! From the spacious bridal suite upstairs to the mancave downstairs there's so much more to the stone built colonial house than just great photo ops! The old walnut tree at the ceremony site is a gorgous backdrop to your vows with the rolling countryside and farmland of Maryland completing the perfect setting. Then reserve a sweet spot on the patio or inside the house for cocktails before dinner is served in the spacious tent. Complete with hardwood floor, the tent can accomodate up to 275 guests comfortably, and still has space for a large dance floor.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Provides a dedicated team on-site
  • Space for a large guest list
  • Dressing room available

Venue considerations

  • No on-site guest accommodations
  • Not wheelchair accessible
  • Not for you if you're looking for a sleek and contemporary space
Walker's Overlook is a hidden gem and was the perfect venue for our October wedding! The ceremony area is absolutely gorgeous and provides an incredible backdrop for photos, while the reception tent offers a cozy, rustic vibe complete with wood floors and string lights. The owners, Mark and David, are the best. They are both super hands-on and were great to communicate with throughout the whole process. Mark checked in on us regularly during the year leading up to our wedding and made sure we knew exactly what to expect on the wedding day. One of the best things about Walker's is that they provide an in-house wedding coordinator, so we didn't need to hire a separate planner. Our coordinator, Tammy, was INCREDIBLE -- she knows the industry inside and out and made our wedding day completely seamless and stress-free. Walker's Overlook truly provided the venue of our dreams and I can't recommend them enough!

I have nothing but incredible things to say about Dulany's! The owner and staff are all wonderful people and were so easy to work with, the venue is spacious and gorgeous, and the mountainous backdrop for our ceremony was more beautiful than I had even hoped for. Some huge selling points for us for the venue were it being pet friendly (this was a non-negotiable), including a day-of wedding coordinator (shout out Tammy!!), having a lot of freedom with the vendors we selected, a huge area for both the bridal party and groomsmen to hang out/get ready, an arch ready to be decorated, easy parking, and a golf cart for getting my elderly relatives around. It was truly a dream wedding and venue and I would recommend it to ANYONE!
