Mark and Karlen have been restoring the farm for 19 years, one thing has been maintained as much as possible in its original form, the barn. The historic late 1800’s bank barn has many of the original board siding, only to be replaced in-like when needed. It boasts a very large 4 bay layout with the original chestnut flooring. The board siding allows the light to dance off the beautiful wood floors. It is a privilege for Mark and Karlen to invite you into their treasured barn and grounds.

The Barn at Rayne Run is a new wedding, reception, and party venue that is a must-see! Chuck and Linda of Marion Center have completely restored an old barn all the way down to the frame. There is now electricity, plumbing, bathrooms, a bridal suite, a kitchenette, and a roofed deck with a beautiful view.

The Other Barn is nestled in the heart of Howard County, MD, providing a rustic and charming barn setting, close to home. Originally a dairy barn, it now provides a unique, elegant, and warm atmosphere perfect for celebrating life's special moments. The Other Barn is ideal for hosting outdoor wedding ceremonies and indoor wedding receptions on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The Other Barn prides itself on being an affordable, local venue while allowing our clients to choose all of their own vendors in order to watch their dreams become a reality on their special day.
