“I originally chose Holly for my photographer because we had a very specific theme for our wedding (Destiny the video game). It must have also been Destiny that she played the game and was familiar with the theme. Also, she was amazingly flexible and willing to work with our budget. Her correspondence with me was always quick and prompt. Even when it came to getting my professional pictures and sneak peaks all back, I was told it would be up to 2 months for return, but she had them back in only a week or two's time. Unfortunately, (as these things sometimes happen) Holly was not able to actually come do our photos due to getting extremely sick (which no one can help), so we had to have a stand in photographer named Justin. I know we (including herself) were all bummed she could not be there considering we were all excited and familiar with the theme. Despite not having Holly, Justin was still very nice to work with and did an amazing job. I did notice that the best pictures (of course) were the ones he had time to actually position and pose us for. I think my biggest regret was I wish I had had more time and funds to pay for more time for him to pose us and take these more less candid photos. I was sad to find that we missed out on getting individual photos of my daughters and all four of them on their own. Also there were no photos of my husband with his second oldest daughter which really upset her... But again, I don't blame the photographer for this. It really was chalked up to a lack of time. Also, one of my daughters changed into more comfortable clothes during dinner so that took away from us being able to get the nice pictures I had wanted. So I can't emphasize enough that I don't blame the photographers for this at all... It was just one of my biggest regrets on my part of the night. I again, wish I had built more time and been able to contribute more money to more pictures that could be done in this manner. I definitely recommend this team. They are so nice and do their best to check off all of the boxes that you want. They work with you and are quick and efficient with what they do.”

“Working with Kandid Art was overall a great experience! They showed up on time and made sure we got all the shots we wanted. Though the wedding ran a bit behind, they were flexible. The photos turned out beautiful, and they got creative with the locations given the cold, rainy weather. They even got some funny shots of the kids at the wedding that are some of my favorites! The video was also good, although I don't love that they had to use like stock music for the background (I guess it's because of copyright issues with other songs?). I wish they would have included audio of the vows rather than the cheers of the attendees, so make sure you ask them to do that if you want it! I do love that they provided us with all the raw video footage though, as some of the most special moments didn't make the highlight video. Due to the event running behind, the cost increased a bit (which I was asked about after the wedding) due to the 2 photographers needing to split up to cover the shots. I wish they had asked me or the Wedding Coordinator about that on the day of so we could understand better what was the issue, but it was a minor thing in terms of communication. Overall 8/10 rating and would recommend.”

“I don't even know where to begin - Dani is simply amazing and if it were possible to give her a 10 star rating, I would. She not only captured my husband and I's intimate mountain top elopement, but her and Jed also followed us through out the rest of the day and photographed our reception that we held with family and friends. We are usually pretty awkward in front of the camera, but they made us feel so comfortable (even at 5am in the morning lol) and our photos prove it. Dani puts so much work into finding the perfect elopement locations and the most flattering lighting. My husband and I are BEYOND ecstatic with how our photos turned out - she captured who we truly are and how much love we have for each other. However, I started second shooting for my wedding photographer and fell in love with it. “I don’t even know where to begin as an awkward person I was so nervous working with Ms.Jes specially being a SAHM, talking with new people could be nerve wracking sometimes but Ms.Jes made the whole process so smooth and with no awkwardness either, Ms.Jes showed up and went straight to do her magic she don’t play no games with her art and that’s what we admired about her, she literally helped us experiment with different poses, helped explain everything with patience, she also made sure she had every angle right, every lighting , everything that came into her mind she did and we loved that, we also had our son with us and she was very patient with him and understanding of him so if you guys have kiddos she’s definitely perfect for the role. Overall we love love Ms.Jes and are looking forward to getting more of our photos done with her.”
