    Wedding photography- Highly recommend

    I cannot say enough great things about working with Shay and Jason. From the moment we met Shay she has been so helpful and personable with us. Through the planning process, she had great communication and worked with me to make sure no details were missed. The day of, Shay was amazing. She captured every moment beautifully. Her and Jason were so flexible with the ever changing plans with the weather that day. The thing I will remember most though was her not just being someone behind the camera. You can tell Shay truly cares. From coming to me and allowing me to take some breaths through the day to helping fix my bustle, she didn’t just feel like a vendor, she felt like a trusted friend. I am so thankful we chose Shay to capture our day and have these memories to cherish forever. If you need a photographer, you will not be disappointed booking Shay and her team!

    engagement photos

    Shay took my engagement pictures and I could not recommend her more! My Fiance and I are usually awkward and definitely camera shy but Shay made us feel so comfortable! I am absolutely in love with my photos, I show them off every chance I get. If you’re looking for a photographer I recommend Shay, you really won’t regret it.

    Excellent

    Shay was great! She knew exactly how to have us pose and kept it light. We laughed and had a great time for our engagement photos, even though it was 10 degrees! Highly recommend!

    Amazing photographer!

    Shay Scala Photography was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding. From the initial consultation to the final delivery of our photos, their communication was friendly, helpful, and excellent. The quality of their work is simply beautiful - they have an incredibly artistic eye and captured so many wonderful moments that we will cherish forever. We had a great experience all the way around, even for my husband who isn't usually comfortable with professional photos. Shay and their team made us feel at ease and we got all the traditional shots we wanted as well as so many fun, candid photos that we love. The engagement photos and wedding photos they delivered are truly amazing. We couldn't be happier with Shay Scala Photography and highly recommend them to any couple planning their big day!

    Shay is AMAZING

    Shay's communication was excellent. Her work was beautifully done, creative and unique. She surprised us with a couple of special poses and settings, which turned out lovely. Shay made it a stress free experience for us and went above and beyond basically with everything that she did, from positioning people, smoothing out my dress, to picking amazing times and spots for the photos (such as sunset, etc). Shay is easy to talk to, and her communication was very clear. Not once was I ever worried that the photos wouldn’t turn out well. She absolutely nailed it and the photos came out perfect. Bonus: the sneak peek came back only one day after the wedding and I really enjoyed the wedding photo dashboard she utilized. Would recommend! 10/10

I recommend booking as soon as you've secured your wedding date and venue. Most couples book 12–18 months in advance, especially for popular spring and fall Saturdays. Since I photograph a limited number of weddings each year to give every couple the experience they deserve, dates can fill quickly.
