We had an engagement shoot with him soon after. We fell in love with his aesthetic. Working with him is so easy. Between the engagement shoot and the wedding, Stephen did a great job of keeping regular touchpoints. Before the wedding we organized family portraits for the day of and he was able to mock up a thorough and detailed schedule that gave us confidence that he’d keep the day running smoothly. During the day, he was so calm and helpful. He helped keep all of the portrait sessions moving smoothly and then also came up with a bunch of creative ideas for photos throughout the night. By halfway through the night, he had set up iPads with photo slideshows of some shots from the earlier session for our guests to see and by the time we left at night we received a personalized photo album with prints of some of his favorite shots already - you heard right, PRINTS by the end of the night! We’re just now starting to go through photos from the day and they are looking amazing. I can’t recommend Heritage House enough - please please book them for your event!”

“Emma was awesome to work with. Communicating with her from the beginning of the process was super clear, prompt, and professional. She was easy to talk to and has a casual style that I appreciate, while still guiding us through the process and making sure we were on track with scheduling, deciding on details for the day, etc. Of all of our vendors, she was by far the most organized. The quality of her work is simply gorgeous and she managed to make us look much cooler than we really are! She captured all the candid moments we had hoped for, and we were amazed at how quickly she got through our posed photos so we could just enjoy the rest of our wedding day. My dad even commented, "Wow, I don't know when you guys had time to get all of these!" after seeing the gallery. We also had a laundry list of family/wedding party pairings and we got through them all promptly after the ceremony, without a ton of fuss, which is exactly as we'd requested. She pulled us aside after dinner when the sun was at the perfect height to get a few more photos, and they're some of my favorites despite only taking us away from the party for about 5 minutes. The preview gallery came SO fast (I believe it was within a day or two) and the pics were just amazing. She was so accommodating of anything we wanted to do, and also had suggestions whenever we weren't sure what we wanted. I also requested to get a couple photos before our final gallery was done so that my mom could use them for Christmas cards and she was so accommodating of that request and sent them right away. We had a great experience and are so happy with our final gallery. Thanks, Emma!!”
