After ten years as a New York-based photographer, I recently moved to Argentina and now return to NY once or twice a year for weddings. I also photograph destination celebrations across the US, Europe, and South America. I’ve photographed everything from large weddings with packed dance floors to intimate days shared with only a few loved ones. What I love most is getting to know each couple and creating photographs that feel personal, honest, and true to them.

I don’t believe your wedding should feel like one long photoshoot. I want you to enjoy it, be present, and spend time with the people you love while I document what it actually felt like. Before the wedding, I take time to learn about your story, your vision, and the people and details that matter most to you. This helps me spot meaningful moments, even the ones you may not notice as they happen. I’ll offer direction when you need it, help you feel comfortable in front of the camera, and step back when a moment is better left to unfold naturally.

    Couldn't have asked for a better photographer!

    We had hired Nicole to come on a hike with us in Upstate, NY to photograph our engagement. Not only did she capture beautiful photos, but we had a fantastic time hiking with her and formed a relationship with her, which is a rare find when it comes to vendors! Despite it raining and being foggy, she was a trooper and the pictures turned out amazing - we think even better than if it was sunny! We love both her documentary-style photography and editing style. She really knows how to capture the moment without it being performative! We had so much fun and it didn't even feel like we were in a photoshoot. I was a bit anxious because I don't do well in front of the camera or know how to pose, but Nicole knew exactly how to make me feel comfortable! She was super friendly and professional. We would definitely work with her again, and are currently looking to hire her for our wedding!

    Our experience working with Nicole was seriously so joyful. From the start she was welcoming, kind, yet professional. I feel like she really listened to our vision for the day and truly took the specifics into consideration during our shoot. She let us be ourselves, yet the subtle guidance she provided was invaluable, especially because it was our first time taking professional photos. It was a highly personalized experience and didn’t feel generic at all. And the photos speak for themselves, we’re obsessed! Clearly a natural talent and so hardworking. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to take stunning photos in the PNW.

I completely understand why you may wonder! I worked as a photographer in New York for over ten years, and I don't plan to stop photographing weddings there. I genuinely love NY weddings and return once or twice each year for a carefully planned season. I build extra time into my travel and never fly in the day before a wedding, so a routine delay won’t put your celebration at risk. Once I commit to your date, you and your wedding are a priority.
For me, this is about much more than arriving with a camera. I take on fewer than 20 weddings each year so I can give every couple the time and attention they deserve. We’ll get to know each other, talk through your vision, and identify the people, traditions, and details that mean the most to you. I’ll also help with your photography timeline, family groupings, and anything that can make the experience feel more personal and relaxed.

You’re definitely not alone; most of my couples tell me this! I won’t expect you to know how to pose or perform for the camera. I’ll give gentle direction when it helps, while also creating space for you to interact naturally. My goal is for the experience to feel comfortable and enjoyable, so your photographs still look and feel like you.
I know how exciting it is to relive your wedding, so I’ll send you a sneak peek within 24 hours. I'll deliver your complete gallery within four weeks. I personally select and edit every photograph myself; I don’t outsource the work or use AI to edit your images. This allows me to give your gallery the same care, consistency, and attention I brought to documenting your day.
Yes. Being present throughout the planning process is an important part of my work. I’ll help create a photography timeline, plan family formal groupings, and coordinate timing with vendors such as your hair and makeup team, DJ, and venue. If you don’t have a wedding planner, I’ll need to take on a more involved role to help organize the day and make sure the timeline works for everyone. Because this requires additional meetings, vendor communication, and behind-the-scenes preparation, your proposal will include an additional planning-support fee.
