“Just let me START by saying, I am a true customer who hired DJ Jeremy B for my daughter's wedding at Walnut Hall Estate in Carrollton, IL on November 16, 2024. Not a friend, not a relative, just a mom hiring a DJ. I have not been paid in any way for this review... it is 100% our honest experience. My daughter had been to a prior wedding at that venue and loved how Jeremy kept the guests dancing so he was unanimously their choice! Forward to the planning stages... my future son-in-law is a fan of Marvel and DC Comics, particularly Batman. My daughter had an idea of playing "The Batman" by Michael Giacchino for her wedding march and even chose a wedding dress that had a cape to give it a classy "Gotham" vibe. The programs were Newspaper "Breaking News" announcements also with a Gotham vibe. DJ Jeremy took that idea and CREATED a remix for the wedding march. I knew nothing of this until my daughter called and said, "MOM!!! You have to hear this... the DJ created my walk-in song and it is PERFECT! I cried it was so perfect!". She drove to our house so we could listen to it on her phone... OMG AHMAZING! The evening of the wedding, the ceremony started and after the attendants (all 8 sets) walked in, the doors shut... then a quiet drum build up to the doors swinging open to this big boom of a climax of the remix with my husband and myself walking her down the aisle. I WAS SO MOVED and it was SO PERFECT... I just can't even tell you. Jeremy is SO VERY TALENTED... he KNOWS the "feel" you're going for and NAILS it! Not to mention he's got this handlebar moustache that is just edgy and super cool. Our Groomsmen were commenting, "I want that stache!" You want the BEST DJ?... hire Jeremy! You will NOT be sorry...and if you do...ask to hear that song!! It is just crazy good.”

“Dan Moore from DJ Shark Attack was absolutely incredible. From the moment we met him, he exceeded all of our expectations. Not only was he an amazing DJ who kept everyone on the dance floor all night, but he was also one of the most genuine and thoughtful people we’ve ever met. We had a special request for a unique entrance into our reception, and Dan completely nailed it. He went above and beyond to make it exactly how we imagined, and it turned out even better than we hoped. On top of that, we asked if he could include last names during the wedding party introductions—something he doesn’t normally do—and he took the time to learn and pronounce every single name correctly. That level of care and attention meant so much to us. He also made a real effort to connect with all of our guests and made sure everyone was well taken care of throughout the night. While my husband and I were off taking sunset photos, Dan got us plates of food and even kept them warm—something we hadn’t thought about, but he did without hesitation. Dan wasn’t just our DJ—he was a huge part of what made our day so special. “Overall, we had a good experience with our DJ. He arrived on time, was professional throughout the evening, and kept our guests on the dance floor for most of the night. The music flowed well, and everyone seemed to have a great time. That said, I did spend a lot of time carefully selecting songs that were meaningful to us, and I was a little disappointed that many of those selections weren't played. Some of our requested songs were included, but I had hoped more of our playlist would be incorporated into the evening. The only other issue was that, just before our grand exit, he approached us to mention that he hadn't received enough food. We had paid for a vendor meal for him, so I wasn't sure what had happened, and it didn't feel like the best time to bring it up while we were in the middle of such a special moment. Despite those concerns, he was friendly, punctual, and our guests clearly enjoyed themselves. If having a lively dance floor is your top priority, he does a good job creating a fun atmosphere.”

“Although we didn’t hire Overtone Entertaining for our own wedding, after being in attendance for another event they played at and inquiring more about them, I can confidently say I really wish they existed when we were planning our day. The level of professionalism, talent, and care was impressive and it’s abundantly clear that this is more of an experience than just hiring a band playing at your special day or event. The rarest part about them is they personalize everything to your needs and taste which is very hard to find within this industry! Hindsight 20/20, having them at our wedding would have taken away the headache and extra guesswork of planning this integral part of our whole day.
