“We cannot recommend Said highly enough! He is incredibly professional and responsive to all our questions. It was clear from the start that he knew exactly what he was doing. Said took the time to ask all the right questions to truly understand the specific vibe and music we wanted for our wedding. He managed guest requests well (we didn't want everything to be played, and he did a fantastic job filtering through them so we only heard the music we actually liked). On the day of, his setup was fast, the sound quality was excellent, and his lighting made the dance floor fun. Our biggest priority was keeping people on the dance floor, and Said delivered. The floor was packed from the first song until the very end of the night! We are still getting comments from friends about how much fun they had and how impressed they were that the dancing never stopped. “The photographer, videographer, and photo booth was absolutely perfect and our guests had a blast! However, even after going through the work of submitting a Spotify play list and adding do not play songs or DJ played the wrong version of our first dance song (I checked and we had the correct version listed on our playlist we sent over), he also played songs from our do not play list to the point I, the bride, came over to ask if he had the wrong list. He admitted he was using songs from the do not play list as he was not paying attention. I would also like to note, though our wedding was more casual, our DJ was dressed in a sloppy manner. His shirt was half untucked from his pants, there were stains on his shirt and pants. Besides a few hiccups, direct Entertainment was wonderful to work with!”

Jack Boatman is a Milwaukee native with an extensive background in music. He obtained a B.S. in Music Education from Case Western Reserve University in the spring of 2018. He prides himself on being an accomplished multi-instrumentalist, having played the violin for over 20 years and picked up several other instruments along the way, including guitar, drums, bass, and banjo. Jack has been DJing weddings and school dances since the spring of 2015. He is not only a skilled mixer and request manager, but an engaging MC who can lead any special dances or activities you have in mind.

“Bob was such an incredible DJ for our wedding! We purchased both the ceremony and reception package. Bob was very familiar with our wedding venue which helped us have a fantastic experience. Because of Bob, our ceremony went seamlessly. From the music, sound quality, transitions, and microphone set up Bob ensured a stress free experience. We got great feedback from our guests that they had no trouble hearing the officiant, reader, or bride and groom during vows. Overall, Bob was very accommodating and attentive to detail for all our needs and made sure to fully understand our unique preferences ahead of time. Bob did a great job introducing the wedding party, making sure to land everyone’s pronunciation as well! Bob also did a great job directing our guests throughout the night ensuring everything ran smoothly. His audio setup for our first dance on the outdoor terrace was incredible and truly created a magical experience. He was able to obtain our requested songs and made sure to prioritize our playlist during the dancing. Everyone had such a great time on the dance floor as we had a full dance floor from start to finish. He truly kept everyone dancing all night and was responsive to guests requests as well.
