After working in the wedding and event industry as a wedding coordinator for two years, I finally pursued my true passion of being a wedding florist! Merinda Starnes has performed as a solo, orchestra, and ensemble musician since 2007. She received her degree in harp performance from the University of Utah studying under Dr. Cathy Clayton. During her college career, she performed with the University of Utah and University of Arizona’s Wind Ensemble and Philharmonic as their principal harpist. ​Her solo performing career started at the age of 9 and since then, she has played in over 100 weddings and events.

Founded as Brigham Academy, the center has a rich history dating back to 1903. It has served various purposes, including a dance hub, roller skating rink, bowling alley, corporate offices for Thiokol Chemical Corporation and then it became the home of American Sportswear. This incredible dance hall is the birthplace of Ballet West and today it stands as the beautifully restored Brigham Academy Center.

The whole reason why we have weddings is to celebrate the beautiful connections the couple has made, not only with each other but with two families becoming one. Bellus Nexus not only want to help you celebrate the new connection you have, but also the ones back to your heritage, your roots, & your deceased loved ones.
