I am a wedding videographer based out of Utah and I seriously LOVE everything about this career. I found my love for wedding videography back in 2019 when my friend asked me to film their wedding. I had always loved cameras, but never considered filming weddings. But after the first one, I fell in love with it. I am now filming weddings full-time, and it has been a dream come true. Merinda Starnes has performed as a solo, orchestra, and ensemble musician since 2007. She received her degree in harp performance from the University of Utah studying under Dr. Cathy Clayton. During her college career, she performed with the University of Utah and University of Arizona’s Wind Ensemble and Philharmonic as their principal harpist. ​Her solo performing career started at the age of 9 and since then, she has played in over 100 weddings and events.

Founded as Brigham Academy, the center has a rich history dating back to 1903. It has served various purposes, including a dance hub, roller skating rink, bowling alley, corporate offices for Thiokol Chemical Corporation and then it became the home of American Sportswear. This incredible dance hall is the birthplace of Ballet West and today it stands as the beautifully restored Brigham Academy Center.

For me, my job isn’t just about playing music – that should be an obvious expectation – it is about creating an experience. I love taking a couples vision and making it happen. I love working cohesively with bands and doing afterparties.
