“Kristin did our arch, centerpieces, and boutonnieres, and from the first conversation she was easy — genuinely easy — to work with. My mom had wanted to do our wedding flowers herself but couldn't because of health issues, and instead of treating that as a footnote, Kristin found real ways to work my mom's touches into the arrangements so she still felt like part of the day. That mattered more than Kristin probably even realizes. She also runs what I can only describe as a magic budget spreadsheet — endless ways to tweak and tailor exactly what you want without ever feeling like you're guessing at cost. As someone who likes to see the math, I appreciated that a lot. And then there's the part that got me: I'm colorblind. Kristin didn't just design around what Jonathan liked — she built in texture and shape that gave me something to actually connect with, instead of colors I can't fully see. I felt included in something I'm usually on the outside of at events like this. We're still getting compliments on the florals weeks later. “The space transforms into a fairytale of a dinner location… the incorporation of the trees into the space made me feel like I was eating dinner in the Ferngully(that is a great thing in case it isn’t obvious). The space was a 10/10 and the hosts vibe check was top shelf stuff. They had the class and sophistication of a fine wine and treated us like family. Food was also a delight and I highly recommend this place for your next date night. Be warned, you will end the night with fireworks because this place is sure to impress any date!”

“Memorial House is a beautiful venue! I'm a wedding photographer and work at all sorts of venues all the time. Memorial House really stands out. The indoor spaces of the historic venue are lovely. They are spacious enough to accommodate large groups while still feeling intimate and cozy. On top of that, the setting in one of Salt Lake's favorite parks can't be beat. You're close to everything downtown while feeling tucked away in the natural beauty of Memory Grove. If that wasn't enough, Lindsi and the events team are fantastic and will help make sure your event goes off without a hitch. I couldn't recommend Memorial House more!”

“We found Annie on Zola as someone recommended for bakers. We knew we wanted something with the pallet knife style and saw in her profile that she does a lot of art and design. She was clear with her communication and what she needed from us, and helped us take care of details we hadn’t thought of - like cake platter and cutter. She even delivered which saved us a lot of hassle day of! The cake was gorgeous and we were blown away! What bits of the cake we got to eat were so good! We appreciated her help with gluten and dairy-free options as well!”

“Our venue was a library rooftop with an asymmetrical, tiered layout — not exactly a standard reception space. Colin didn't just accommodate that, he treated it like a puzzle worth solving. We spent real time together drawing up maps of the space, figuring out where everything could actually go before the day arrived. At one point the library told him a piece wouldn't fit in their elevator. He was ready to bring our arch down there himself to prove otherwise. That's the kind of advocacy you want from a vendor working directly with your venue on your behalf. We also were not easy clients, logistically speaking — we changed the layout multiple times, adjusted the food, and added a live band into the plan partway through. Every single time, Colin's answer was "yes, let's figure it out," never "that complicates things." Full catering, bar service, and all our rentals came through HPWT, and the entire event ran without a hitch because of the work he put in ahead of time. If you've got an unconventional venue and a caterer keeps telling you it "should be fine" without actually walking the space with you — go with someone who will. Colin and HPWT will.”
