Welcome to R Wittwer Photography! My photography business started in New Mexico 4 years ago taking portraits and family pictures. After I moved to Utah for school, I realized I loved capturing all the wonderful emotions that come with engagements and bridals! Unfortunately I realized I wanted to make this pivot at the beginning of the Covid pandemic, when people started putting off their weddings. Then 2021 happened and I got back on track! I have loved every minute of it. I am so excited to work with so many loving couples like you to help you capture your excitement and joy on one of the biggest days of your lives!

I am based in beautiful Salt Lake City, Utah, but I'm always ready for my next adventure. I was born and raised in Boise, Idaho, and just recently moved to Utah! I have been traveling since before I could speak. In fact, my first trip was to Hawaii when I was 6 months old! I worked at a local news station for 6 years before I left to start my business. I started out in cameras and audio and then moved up to producing for 4 years when I realized how unhappy I was. I missed having a creative outlet and a camera in my hands. I have been in business for 3 years now!

Alli Brown is a singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Sandy, Utah. She’s been entertaining crowds for well over a decade and you can always find her playing live gigs at different venues around the US, singing the national anthem for sporting events like The Salt Lake Bees, or opening up concerts with her original music. Alli loves connecting with people and creating special moments with her music.

I’m honest and direct (never a jerk), and I’ll probably have a wild idea during photos that makes you think, “What did we sign up for?” That’s part of the fun. The area which now comprises Memory Grove Park was set aside as a city park in 1902. The park however, remained unimproved until the 1920s when the women of the Salt Lake chapter of the Service Star Legion asked the city to designate the park as a memorial honoring America's soldiers and spearheaded the planting of trees and placement of monuments in the park. Memorial House was constructed around 1890 as a stable and equipment storage shed for contractor Patrick J. Moran. When Salt Lake City acquired the park area in 1902, the city's water department used the building as their barn, tool shed, and blacksmith shop as it was located directly across from the city's water intake structure on City Creek. In 1926, Salt Lake City leased the building to the Service Star Legion which planned to use it for veteran's activities and they renovated it to become an events center, there have been weddings held at Memorial House ever since. Now operated by Preservation Utah.
