I’m drawn to the subtle interactions, the movement, and the details that often go unnoticed, yet hold the most meaning. I love the world and find it to be a very interesting place to spend some time. I like many things about our little planet, but nothing fascinates me more than the people that inhabit it. People will always be the greatest treasure to me, which is likely why I favor photographing people above any other subject matter.

25 years ago, I watched my stepfather's home burn to the ground. Along with it went all the memories he had kept of my mother, who had passed away years before. My passion for photography grew after that traumatic event. Photography has become a need to capture memories for future generations, memories that I don't have anymore.
