How far in advance should we book you for our wedding?

Accepted Answer

Typically, couples book me about 13 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.

Question 2

How long will it take to see our pictures?

Accepted Answer

I guarantee a 24 hour sneak peek on some of your images. My turnaround time on your full gallery varies by season. Typically, you’ll be able to view all your photos online about 4-6 weeks after your wedding. Within this time, you can also expect to receive an online gallery with high-resolution image files, so you can share the photos with your loved ones and order prints.

Question 3

How many pictures will we get?

Accepted Answer

You can expect anywhere from 800-2000 images back in your gallery. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of hours, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.

Question 4

What’s your back-up plan if you can’t photograph our wedding as planned?

Accepted Answer

In my 12 years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my amazing colleagues or my contracted assistant.

Will you edit all our pictures?

Accepted Answer

Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful.

We don’t feel very confident in front of the camera, will we still get good images?

Accepted Answer

If I had a dime for every time a couple told me "We are super awkward" I would be set for life. Don't worry. Standard poses are BORING!! I promise you will warm up fast. I tend to take a more organic approach. I capture those candid natural moments. When it comes to your couples images, I will prompt you with sweet and fun prompts that will have you both laughing, crying, leaning in, and in turn loving your images.

How does the "Live Photo booth" work?

This is such a cool feature we offer. The Bride & Groom will receive a custom QR code. You're welcome to print it off and put it on the tables, or you can display it for your guests to find. Myself and/or my second shooter will then go around throughout the day and get shots of any guests who want a photo. Those photos instantly automatically upload right to a cloud service and your guests can scan the QR code and download their image free of charge. They can then use them to do as they please. We can even customize the images to say the bride and grooms name!

Question 8

What type of Videography do you offer?

On top of photography, we also offer videography. This will be a highlight video taken on our professional cameras. My second shooter and I will flip flop between stills and video clips throughout the day. I will then take the clips and put together a 5-8 min or so highlight video with music for you to enjoy your wedding day again and again. Unfortunately this highlight video does not include voice overs. If you're someone who would prefer a full feature film of your day, I would recommend hiring a separate videographer.

Question 9

Do you travel?

YES! Myself and my assistant shooter will travel for your wedding. My goal is to do at least 2 out of state/country weddings per year. This can be an elopement, or based in your home town! I am based in Michigan.
