“I chose GLAMbridal because they seemed to focus on natural wedding makeup that enhances your features -- and that's what they delivered for me on wedding day. GLAMbridal's communication was friendly and transparent throughout the process, although at times my coordinator and I waited a while for responses to our questions. On the day of the wedding, my artist, Lou, was calm and adaptable, working diligently to create a beautiful, natural look that enhanced my features. Lou worked hard to use my top-of-the-shoulder (aka fairly short) hair to create a beautiful low bun with twists of hair leading into it from each front side. After I cried during my first look and messed up the foundation and powder on my cheeks, Lou stepped away from working on my mom's hair to give me a touch up. Lou helped my mom look her best, too. My makeup did not hold up well through the ceremony when I cried a fair bit more but never balled. I ended up removing everything but my eye makeup right after the ceremony and license signing because I had big streaks down my cheeks. I've never had professional makeup done before, so I really don't know how well it should withstand tears sliding down it. It was a little disappointing to have to remove all the makeup covering up my rosacea before the reception, but I was grateful that the eye makeup had held up well despite the tears. Overall, I think Lou and GLAMbridal did excellent work in professional and friendly manner and at a fair and reasonable price. I recommend them to other brides.”

“Ericka’s work as a makeup and hair artist was truly impeccable. Everyone looked absolutely stunning and that work mostly lasted the whole day despite hot weather. That being said, her communication is primarily had through her contract and she struggled to meet needs that fell outside of her typical operation approach. As a bride that was coming from out of state, we were unable to find a location to do the trial and I was still charged for the trial as communication around location was not had until the invoice adjustment window was closed. As I said, her work was amazing but be prepared to be the driver of communication and do so early.”

“Anne was a dream to work with. She was very communicative from the beginning. During the trial, I showed her photos that were AI generated (I didn’t know it at the time) and Anne worked her magic. She consistently stopped and asked what I might like to change between base, coverage, eye shadow, and lipsticks and listened to what I had to say. She had just recently returned from continuing education trips over the winter and told me what she had learned, and how she was going to use it going forward. At the end of the day, not only was her work exquisite, she was wonderful company. On the day of our elopement, she chatted with me about true crime books and podcasts and with my husband about finance, tech and AI podcasts. She was just generally fun to be around, as well as exceptional in her work. It was a wonderful start to our important day.”
