Hi! My name is Shelby Johnston (hence where SJ comes from). I've been a makeup artist for a little over 4 years now. I've come to learn that people tend to get their makeup done for life's big moments. I am truly honored to be a part of those big days. Whether it's getting you ready to marry your best friend on the side of a mountain, celebrating your newest family addition, business achievements, and so much more! Whatever you have coming up, trust that I will get you looking your best.

I take pride in ensuring you are 100% comfortable throughout the process. I check in with you often, and encourage any changes to be made. My style of makeup is to make you look like you, but enhanced. I take into consideration what you look like on a day to day basis and we amplify the style from there.

Description

This package is your all inclusive package and one I recommend to every bride. This package includes 1 Trial preformed at my Gig Harbor Studio + the day of Application. This is set up like a pay as you go. $100 is due at booking for the retainer to secure and hold your date, with a signed contract $100 is due at the Trial $200 remaining balance is due the week of the wedding. *Travel fees are in addition to*

    Finding someone who could do incredible bridal make up while still keeping me looking like myself was really important to me when looking for a MUA and Shelby absolutely crushed it! During my trial, she was patient and attentive, reassured me when I was nervous, and was an all around joy to work with! On the day of my wedding she was efficient and so easy to work with. My makeup wore beautifully (even though it was very hot out!) and did not budge until I took it off at the end of the night. My bridesmaids, my mom, and my mother in law all looked equally stunning! Highly recommend working with Shelby!!

    Shelby is very wonderful to work with! She was responsive and answered all of my questions, even if they didn’t pertain to makeup. She really helped me shape my getting ready timeline. Oh! And my makeup (and bridesmaids makeup) looked AMAZING! She was wonderful!

    This is the second time I’ve had Shelby do my makeup for a wedding and not only was she fun & easy to talk to, she made me feel fabulous - not to mention gave the brides a drop dead gorgeous look. I have oily skin and normally my makeup doesn’t last but it did not budge even with the humidity & a surprise rain storm. I also super appreciate her education and adaptability to take my inspiration from Pinterest to give me a look that compliments my face and eye shape - ladies social media is not one size fits all!! Overall you will have a 10/10 experience with Shelby each and every time you work with her.
