I have 15 years of hands on education & experience. I only use clean, designer, & efficient brands that I am proud of that represent all ages, all religions, all sexes, and all races.     I truly wish I didn't have to write a negative review, but after my experience, I feel obligated to warn other brides who may be considering booking with this company. I got married in August 2026 and originally reached out to Ari in March to book hair and makeup services for myself and my bridesmaids, along with a hair and makeup trial. I paid a 720 deposit to secure my wedding date, which was 50% of the total cost. The payment was made through Venmo/Zelle, which already felt unusual to me compared to the professional invoicing systems I've used with other wedding vendors. The contract also felt very unprofessional, and I never received a copy signed by her--only the version I had signed. As the months went on, communication became increasingly frustrating. Ari was very inconsistent with responding, and I frequently had to send multiple texts or emails just to receive a response. Eventually, we scheduled my hair and makeup trial. Two hours before the appointment, Ari messaged me saying she had experienced an allergic reaction and needed to cancel. I completely understood that emergencies happen, and I was happy to reschedule. The second trial was scheduled for two weeks before my wedding. I drove about an hour to the location I had been given.When I arrived, I let Ari know I was there, and she told me she wasn't actually home and was at another appointment because she had entered the wrong time in her calendar. Since I had already driven an hour, I stayed in the area. Eventually, she messaged me again and said she was experiencing a personal emergency and needed to cancel. At this point, my trial had been cancelled twice. Ari told me she would refund me for the trial, provide an additional service, and come to me for the rescheduled trial. I was understanding and tried to arrange another date, but once again, I was unable to get a response from her. My wedding was now only a week away, and I had to make the decision to stop hoping things would work out and find someone else. After two cancelled trials, inconsistent communication, and being unable to get a response about rescheduling, I no longer felt comfortable relying on her to show up on my wedding day. I ended up having to find another hair and makeup artist just days before my wedding, which was incredibly stressful during an already overwhelming time. I then reached out to Ari and politely requested the return of my 720 deposit. No services had been provided, and both of my trials had been cancelled by her. It took my wedding planner reaching out to her before I finally received a response, but unfortunately, the resolution was not satisfactory. Thankfully, I was able to find another local artist at the last minute who was absolutely AMAZING. Chatting with her, she told me that she had heard of previous situations where other artists (including her) had been asked to step in and cover weddings or appointments for Ari when she was unable to attend, and that those artists received no payment afterward. I cannot personally verify those claims, so I want to be clear that I am only sharing this as information that was communicated to me. I'm sharing this review because I would have wanted to know about an experience like this before booking. If you are a bride considering this company, I strongly encourage you to do your research and make sure you feel completely confident in your vendor before putting such an important part of your wedding day in their hands.

    Awful communication and no service

    My experience began well enough until she rescheduled my trial and then cancelled on the same day and ghosted me. Complete lack of communication and all a month before my elopement. It was incredibly stressful and I wasted so much money and time since I had to travel to Seattle for my trial. Clearly, this vendor needs to learn how to communicate and be prepared to make it up to her clients when she is not able to provide the service

    Exceptionally Talented and Kind

    Ari was incredible with executing my wedding hair vision and helping my bridal party all feel beautiful (she did 6 different requested hairstyles). I didn't hire her for makeup as one of my bridesmaids had offered to do it. However, Ari noticed that my makeup was not looking like I wanted it to and she professionally/politely offered to fix it to help me achieve the natural/dewy look I wanted. She was kind enough to step in even though I hadn't hired her for makeup services, since she cares about her clients. She went above and beyond what she was hired for. Ari is kind and easy to talk to, so she was wonderful to have around while we all got ready. I highly recommend Ari for wedding hair and makeup!

    Excellent experience

    Ari is just as lovely of a human as she is a makeup artist. She is super patient, actually listens, easy to work with, and is clearly dedicated to her craft. She even helped time my trial run with another event I had coming up. She nailed both days of my wedding weekend, and the extra stylist she brought for my family was also amazing. Everyone loved their experience and how their hair and makeup turned out. We all felt and looked beautiful. I’d book her again in a heartbeat for future events.

    A Wedding Day Nightmare

    I had an extremely disappointing and unprofessional experience working with this makeup artist. She hired me as a makeup artist to assist at a wedding, but she failed to provide any information about the bride’s makeup. She never shared the trial photos, never explained the desired look, and gave me no instructions whatsoever. To make matters worse, she never showed up on the wedding day. The bride spent the entire morning in tears because the makeup artist she had booked simply didn’t arrive. I had to step in and do the bride’s makeup with no preparation or guidance to make sure her wedding day wasn’t completely ruined. After the wedding, she disappeared and refused to pay me for my work. She also failed to pay the hairstylist she had hired for the same wedding. This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable. Failing to communicate, abandoning a bride on her wedding day, and refusing to pay the professionals you hire is completely unethical. I would strongly caution anyone considering working with or booking this makeup artist. My experience was stressful, unfair, and incredibly disappointing.
