Beauty holds different meanings to each individual while it craves different desires and needs. I investigate allergies, inspirations, and needs in longevity and wear. I have 15 years of hands on education & experience. I only use clean, designer, & efficient brands that I am proud of that represent all ages, all religions, all sexes, and all races. Wow, just WOW! Arielle is not only an incredible person who went out of her way to help set me up with the best vendors, but also the MOST talented makeup artist I've come across. She is an angel. I can, without a doubt, say my wedding day was the first time I've felt truly flawless and beautiful. She made my mom and MIL feel the same special way. Beyond thankful to have had Arielle on my wedding team and would not hesitate to recommend her! Look no further than Velvet and Venus.

5 stars!! I had the absolute pleasure of working with Ari for my wedding, and I couldn’t have been happier! As a black woman with 4B curly hair, I was nervous when booking my stylist…. Not only was she a wizard with my texture but made my curls absolutely beautiful, hydrated, and bouncy. Ari ended up doing my traditional sew-in for my wedding so now I will only be booking her for future services including my boards and sew-in. She was a gem from start to finish. From the very first consultation she educated me in product that fit my budget, her team was professional and handled my very troublesome mother (thank you, Ari), attentive, and so talented. I felt safe. She listened to my ideas, offered helpful suggestions, and created a look that was exactly what I wanted: elegant, flawless, and long-lasting. As a curly girl with deep melanin skin…. I struggled at finding a stylist in Seattle, until I found Ari. High recommend her and her team

We’ve had the honor of working with Ari Haynes with Velvet and Venus Beauty for over 3 years & she’s taken care of dozens of our brides (and their loved ones!). She’s always showed up, did a splendid job, left everyone in awe, and gave it all - even when shorter timelines were at play. She isn’t just an amazing hair and makeup artist… this is someone who will literally roll out of bed at 3 a.m. for a sunrise elopement and still have the energy to hype up a bride like it’s 2 p.m. Not impressed yet? Okay, how about this: she once climbed a mountain in Norway — hair kit in tow — just to keep two brides getting married that day looking flawless on a five-hour journey from mountaintop vows all the way down to a beachside celebration on the other side. Oh, and because that wasn’t enough… she’s also hopped into a helicopter (yep, after saying “just in case, love you babe” to her guy) to do touch-ups in windy weather by a remote alpine lake. Like… who does that?! And when there’s no emergency beauty need? Don’t worry — Ari’s probably pulling together a last-minute charcuterie or finding another way to make someone’s day easier, because that’s just who she is. Always present, always giving 100%, always showing up for her brides. Ari has been part of countless EZ Elopements experiences over the years, and her commitment, energy, and love for what she does have made a lasting impression on countless couples over the years. Although EZ Elopements and Ari are now pursuing different paths professionally, I can say with full confidence that she remains an incredibly talented and dedicated artist. Ari is an incredibly talented individual! I had a wonderful experience hiring her as my HMUA for my wedding. She is professional, communicative, and just overall great at what she does. She listened to my vision, adjusted for my needs, and executed it perfectly on my wedding day. My makeup and hair came out exactly how I wanted it to and I couldn’t have been happier(: Her and her team did a wonderful job on our bridesmaids hairstyles as well. She went above and beyond to provide a friendly and caring presence and even stayed past the ceremony to do touch ups throughout the day. I highly recommend her and her team to anyone seeking a talented artist to make their wedding dream look come true!
