He was the most amazing DJ for our wedding at the Denver Botanic Gardens, and all of our friends and family have been saying so since we got married. Music is a huge part of the life my husband and I share, as I'm sure is the same for many engaged and married couples, so we really wanted to have a DJ that understood that. Well, DJ Carbon not only understood it, but he took great care to personalize the music for our wedding. One major thing that I think sets DJ Carbon apart from other vendors is his flexibility and adaptability. From our first conversation, he was so accommodating and easygoing, which made us feel at ease right away. When our actual wedding day came, he did a great job of going with the flow and adapting to any timeline hiccups/changes. And when it came to the music, he delivered! Between my husband and I and DJ Carbon, we all shared a love of Mac Miller, jazz, and oldies, which he incorporated beautifully into our wedding day. Not only that, but when the dancing portion of the evening began, he picked up on the vibes right away and played the tunes accordingly - so much so that even our catering staff was dancing! “Mike handled everything!!!!! He was such a great communicator figuring out the exact music I wanted for our wedding. And his timing with the music was perfect!!!! I was even able to share a Spotify playlist with him. He also MC’d the wedding announcing everything through the night, and even touched based with us through the night. Also we had a little rain before the wedding after he setup. He handled it like a boss covered up his stuff, then a little rain during the wedding and again handles it without skipping a beat! “If I could give John and Trading Post Productions 10 stars, I would. I don't normally go on and on about how great people are, but this group absolutely deserves it. For our wedding, we booked DJ for the ceremony, live music for cocktail hour, and DJ for the reception. First, the live music trio (which we had a guitar, violin, and cello) absolutely nailed it! We chose several songs from their repertoire, but also requested a couple others that were personal to the bride and I, and they not only were accommodating, but they knocked it out of the park during their performance! Second, I could share all the little details about how John was prepared for every moment, but here's the big idea: he is experienced, he will do whatever it takes to get the job done, he is easy to work with, he knows how to read a room, and he is SO talented. So many guests (and even venue staff!) commented on how amazing our DJ was! And there were several times throughout the evening where every single guest was out on the dance floor! Even more than a DJ, John is kind and outgoing, and was so excited to help us celebrate our big day. One little detail I would like to share was during the bride and I's last dance before we departed. John put on the song we requested and then left the room, giving us total privacy in that moment. Though this seems like a little thing, it allowed the bride and I to focus entirely on each other without feeling like anybody was watching us. It is a moment that will no doubt stick with me for the rest of my life. I genuinely don't think a more well-rounded DJ exists. If you're on the fence about whether or not this group is worth it, allow me to be your sign that having John and Trading Post Productions at your wedding is the best choice you could make. They all mentioned how well she kept everyone informed and provided detailed timelines and information, and we saw that firsthand with the incredibly organized planning documents she created for us. On the wedding day, Tarrah made everything feel effortless. She handled all of the setup, kept everything on schedule, checked in with me throughout the day, and somehow still found time to answer the billion questions from my mom and grandma! One of my favorite moments was when she had appetizers waiting for us while we signed our marriage license. I also have dietary restrictions, and she even made sure I had my own special dinner. Those little touches meant so much and showed how much she genuinely cares about her couples. I truly cannot thank Tarrah and Gordon enough for making our wedding day so smooth, stress-free, and special. They helped bring my dream wedding to life, and I wouldn't change a thing.
