“Spruce Mountain was the best venue we could have possibly chosen. My fiancé was sold from the pictures online and when we toured, I spent the whole time just breathless. We were on the upper ranch with the ceremony on Trey's Vista (stunning), cocktail hour in the Spruce Room, and reception in the Ponderosa Room. Communication with them was easy, Tara was our representative and she happily answered all of our questions and communicated seamlessly without overloading our inbox. She even provided me with a preferred vendors list of vendors they have worked with before which created a great starting place for finding vendors. I was a bit skeptical of their requirement of a Day of Coordinator, but I am so thankful that they required it. We didn't have to lift a finger on the wedding day, I wasn't being asked a million questions, it was fantastic. On the wedding day, our property manager came to introduce herself and told us where to find her if we needed her, there was music playing on the TV in the bridal suite, everything was so clean and perfectly set up to start the day. All of our guests could not stop raving about the venue - the views at the ceremony site, having separate spaces for each part of the day, the mix of indoor and outdoor space for the cocktail hour and reception, and so many said "this sets my bar so high for weddings". If I could do my wedding all over again, I would book Spruce with no hesitation!!”

“My husband and I knew from the beginning that we wanted an intimate wedding surrounded by close family and friends, and to have it somewhere intimate and in nature. As a professional wedding photographer myself, Idlewild Ridge Ranch provided everything we wanted and more! The potential for photos on their ranch is never-ending. We got married on a peak fall weekend and their huge grove of aspen trees were lit up in gold and absolutely stunning! Our guests absolutely loved how convenient and easy it was to get to the venue, but how secluded it felt at the same time. It was close enough to Colorado Springs that everyone could drive up for the day and go home the same day. But, don't worry! If you book a wedding here, you can have the venue for the weekend and the ranch has glamping and a lodge cabin for some of your family members or out-of-town guests to stay at. It was truly the best weekend and wedding day ever! There's a tree swing, lots of outdoor games, fire pits, and so much more! If you're looking for an intimate setting and to have a ranch all to yourself for a full wedding weekend, look no further! The feel of seclusion, but the convenience of being within driving distance of Woodland Park and Colorado Springs at the same time. I could talk about the staff for days! The Ranch is family owned, and they are a breath of fresh air to work with! Definitely reach out to them, and definitely set up a tour with them if you're wanting a secluded, intimate wedding.”

Our host, Alvin Pasagui, was incredible as well. He made sure every detail was covered, the accommodations were top-notch (spacious, luxurious rooms with amazing views), and everything ran smoothly. The food was absolutely delicious — every course was a hit with our guests, and the presentation was elegant and perfect for a wedding celebration. The entire casino and resort staff were the best we’ve ever experienced — friendly, attentive, and genuinely excited to be part of our big day. Everything felt seamless and high-end. It was extremely challenging to find a venue that could host both the ceremony and reception that wasn't designed to fit over 100 guests and at the same time was elegant. Then we found Juniper. It was exactly what we were looking for and it was a bonus that it was close enough to Denver so our out of state guests didn't have to drive too far after a full day of travel. Alea and Ashley (the owners) are great to work with and were extremely accommodating and flexible with what we wanted to do. After the wedding our parents were raving about both of them. The venue itself is SO beautiful and we cannot wait to come back and stay at the hotel for our future anniversaries.”

“I highly recommend the Comfort Suites if you need a place to stay in Evergreen. The hotel has beautiful views, free breakfast, and wonderful amenities. We booked this hotel and did a room block for our guests and bridal party. The room block experience was great. Everyone loved staying here and being close to our venue. We absolutely loved the outdoor hot tub. They are also pet friendly! I would definitely stay here again.”
