He was very professional and easy to work with from the beginning and we knew after our first conversion he'd be able to get the party going. It really made a difference that he took the time to learn about the flow of the wedding and our musical preferences. On the wedding day, he made sure everything was ready before our guests arrived by coming early to set things up. He even had backup music ready in case the musicians had to cancel due to inclement weather. He even mic'd our officiant for the ceremony. The music choice for the reception flowed naturally from our wedding through cocktail hour and into the evening. He supplied excellent uplighting, which really improved the dance party's ambiance. “Stop looking because you just found your DJ. Casey was AMAZING. We are almost a week after our wedding and I haven't gone a day without hearing how amazing our DJ was. He was very communicative, punctual, and so sweet. We had a couple hiccups (like every wedding), and he seamlessly filled the moment with music while we figured it out. His timing was PERFECT. I had people CONSTANTLY coming up to me during the reception and tell me how good the music was. Everyone, from grandparents to kids were tearing up the dance floor the WHOLE time. I'm talking people who never dance, were dancing. He had seamless transitions between songs, overlapped ones that made sick remixes, and knew exactly when to change the song to keep people on the floor. When we were running behind schedule, Casey would come up to us and ask what we wanted to do every time, which as a type A bride I loved and it made me feel like I didn't have to think about the timeline. “John was so wonderful to work with! He did the DJ & MC services for our wedding reception party in September. He covered everything we could need with his questionnaire and helped us consider things we hadn't thought of. We had quite a mix of music genres to incorporate and I feel like it was executed flawlessly. We did a mix of EDM, pop, country, classics, piano mixes - I heard all of my must plays during the evening and I couldn't keep myself off the dancefloor. It was just such an amazing time. “I can't say enough great things about Tarrah and Gordon! If you're looking for a coordinator, a DJ, or both, do yourself a favor and hire them. After just one conversation with him, we knew he was the perfect DJ for our wedding. He is upbeat, personable, and truly knows how to read a crowd. One of my biggest worries was that the dance floor would die down and people would start leaving early, but Gordon made sure that never happened. He paid close attention to the energy throughout the night, adjusting the music to keep everyone engaged. He started with songs the older crowd loved and then transitioned into more upbeat party music later in the evening, complete with fun lighting that completely transformed the atmosphere. We had a packed dance floor until the very end, exactly how I had always imagined it. Tarrah is an amazing coordinator. Even though we hired her as our "day-of" coordinator, she went above and beyond throughout the entire planning process. We booked her many months in advance, and she was always available to answer questions and offer guidance. Every single one of our vendors commented on how impressed they were with her organization, communication, and attention to detail. They all mentioned how well she kept everyone informed and provided detailed timelines and information, and we saw that firsthand with the incredibly organized planning documents she created for us. On the wedding day, Tarrah made everything feel effortless. She handled all of the setup, kept everything on schedule, checked in with me throughout the day, and somehow still found time to answer the billion questions from my mom and grandma! One of my favorite moments was when she had appetizers waiting for us while we signed our marriage license. I also have dietary restrictions, and she even made sure I had my own special dinner. Those little touches meant so much and showed how much she genuinely cares about her couples. I truly cannot thank Tarrah and Gordon enough for making our wedding day so smooth, stress-free, and special. They helped bring my dream wedding to life, and I wouldn't change a thing. We went with Hook Club’s 7 piece DJ Band, and they were above and beyond fantastic. They curated a setlist that somehow, despite the wide range of music, flowed together and was cohesive. I can’t express enough how talented they are vocally, instrumentally, professionally, and as performers. The dance floor was absolutely lit; even my brother who was on crutches and had a torn labrum couldn’t stay away. It makes me tear up thinking about how much energy, positivity, and happiness they brought to our night — they will always have a special place in our hearts. They are also true professionals - the planning process was easy, they were prompt in all communication, and on the day of they handled venue-related hiccups with grace. They were the first vendor to arrive to ensure a thorough set up, and the last to leave. They are truly such a special, one of a kind group, and I cannot recommend them enough. The first time we talked to him on the phone we could tell he was going to match our vibe and deliver the wedding we were wanting. We had no idea what we were doing, but he kept us organized and suggested different things that helped us stay on track with different aspects of the wedding. Shane traveled all the way to Fairview for our wedding last weekend, which was not a short drive by any means. He was very fair with pricing, especially with how far he had to travel. Not only did he time our ceremony perfectly with smooth transitions between songs, but he also kept our guests informed of what was happening, without it feeling like he was telling them what to do. He was able to help keep our stress levels low by checking in with us at the right times, working with the maid of honor for certain things and even keeping an eye on the weather. Shane excused tables during dinner at even intervals to ensure there wasn't a long line or people waiting for too long. Speeches and dances were done at the best times throughout the night and he kept everyone engaged and having fun. His ability to read the room and flow through different genres at the right moment is incredible. Fitting in requests from seven year olds seems like it would be impossible, but Shane did it with ease and made the kids feel comfortable enough to keep requesting more. He even had his drone out recording and catching incredible views of the venue, ceremony and reception. It felt more like a friend was DJing for us, not someone we found online and we couldn't have been happier with the outcome. We recommend DJ Shane one hundred times over!”
