“My husband and I knew we wanted to get married but did not want to plan the actual wedding…and we are so lucky that we found the company Wedgewood. With so many venues to choose from, we got married at The Sanctuary in Long Beach and when I say our wedding was stunning, I mean it. We will cherish the day forever. Wedgewood made the entire process so incredibly easy, it almost felt too good to be true. But it was true! All we had to do was make the final decisions and our team took care of the rest of it. We showed up, got married, had an amazing party with amazing food and drinks and had the time of our lives. Not only did we love our wedding, our guests loved it as well. We got so many compliments on how beautiful our decor was and how smoothly everything went. As a bride, I was so nervous about our timeline going the way it was supposed to, but our wedding coordinator, Fumi made sure everything was on track. Fumi made our day so much better and my bridal party loved her. She made me believe that the most important thing was that I married my husband. I highly recommend Wedgewood Weddings. There are no loopholes, their pricing is reasonable and you are able to express yourself freely with them and plan your perfect wedding day. Everyone on their team was no kind to us and make our day so much easier and made us feel so so special. I am so grateful for Wedgewood. Book with them!!”

“After a number of visits to potential wedding venues that just didn't feel right, my wife and I felt like a miracle had happened when we found Seventh Place. Seventh Place is a venue where you can truly execute your own vision, whatever it may be, while the space still brings a quality and characteristic that feels so unique to wedding venues. Having moved to Los Angeles from New York City, my wife and I were hoping to bring a bit of that Brooklyn energy to our wedding day, and the lovely brick interior and beautiful courtyard here absolutely helped deliver that. The space (and staff) was so flexible that it was easy to achieve exactly what we imagined for the big day, and our point person Lorraine was extremely helpful and communicative in the months and weeks leading up to our wedding. The interior is beautiful, with enough space for us to host 150 guests at large family-style tables (the wooden tables Seventh Place has are very very nice), and still have more than enough room for dancing and a cozy and comfy lounge area. Besides being the perfect setting for our ceremony, we hosted the dessert table and some more seating and cocktail tables outside in the courtyard, which has a lot of greenery all around and plenty of shade, making it easy to forget you are in DTLA. The hedge wall outside on the street also served as a great backdrop for our family photos (we put down some turf on the street). We are both so thrilled with how our wedding turned out, and the setting was a major factor in the success of the day. Seventh Place was an exceptional (and very well-priced!) venue with a wonderful team who made the process very easy for us. They also host a great preferred vendor open house which was a big help in wrapping our heads around the wedding planning process, and seeing the space in action! We can happily and confidently recommend Seventh Place as a venue for your big events!”

Los Angeles, CA

The Velaslavasay Panorama is housed in the Union Theatre, a historic neighborhood cinema built in 1910 with a neon marquee, enchanting garden, vintage theatre space and 360-degree painted panorama viewing hall. Set in the historic West Adams District near Downtown LA, a visit to our panorama is complimented by a stroll through the Garden and Grounds reminiscent of the great 19th century pleasure gardens, featuring lush tropical plantings, a wide variety of succulents, a misting and meditation grotto, and a copper-roofed gazebo for reading and reflection. We are using Zola to promote our site as a rental venue for weddings and private events. To learn more, visit rental[dot]panoramaonview[dot]org and to ask questions or schedule a tour, contact event[at]panoramaonview[dot]org.

“If what you are seeking is a truly magical venue, look no further than the Velaslavasay Panorama. My wife and I did not want to have the typical hotel conference hall wedding. We wanted to show our family from outside of LA a place that was meaningful to us and at the same time still impress our friends from LA. The Panorama is genuinely extraordinary, with several different areas that can be arranged to suit your celebration. Our guest list was about 70 people and it was the perfect size. We opted to have our main ceremony in the historic theatre, our cocktail reception with our bartender in the lush garden, our musician play in the gazebo, and our dinner in the large area outside the moon gate. This made it easy for pick ups and drop offs with our catering and table / chair / bar rental. Sara and Ruby from the Panorama were absolutely lovely to deal with and helped considerably with logistics before, during, and after the event. Our photographer loved all of the different backdrops possible and everyone kept mentioning how wonderful the venue was. Check it out, I'm sure you will be absolutely stunned by the Panorama.”

Union Station
Rating: 4.0 (1 review)
Los Angeles, CA
  • Up to 500 guests
  • Raw space
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $11,500

A Los Angeles Icon from 1939, Union Station offers unique spaces to host your corporate/social events, weddings, and more. This iconic Los Angeles landmark is a vibrant symbol of downtown’s renaissance. A dynamic destination for the arts, entertainment and culture, forging a vital new connection to the community, Union Station is more than a bustling transportation hub in the heart of the city. It's a true cultural hub connecting the infinitely varied and wonderful elements of one of the world’s great cities... a gateway to the best of Los Angeles.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Historic touches
  • Classic elegance
  • Accommodates more than 200 guests

Venue considerations

  • No on-premises lodging options
  • Not wheelchair accessible
  • Couple must handle cleanup and setup
“When we first saw Union Station listed on here, we actually thought it was a scam post but as it turns out - YES you can actually get married in Union Station, with several different venue options costing varying amounts. We chose the Fred Harvey room for our wedding, which was easily the most complimented part of our day. It's such an amazing, historic space, and all the staff were extremely kind and accommodating. Now the cons: there are a few required inclusions (security team, valet service, fire marshal checks) that you have to acquire through them - and those costs add up quickly from the price of the actual space rental. The valet company in particular was an insanely high initial quote, but fortunately they did negotiate a drop. Because it's not a dedicated wedding venue, they also don't provide any guidance with vendors (which means you bring everything in yourself), and because it's a protected space, there are a lot of regulations on what can and can't be done (as of Summer 2025, you basically can't use the kitchen for any actual cooking). Even with the drawbacks, we'd probably still do it all over again. It was an exceptionally cool, beautiful experience, and it turned out some AMAZING photos, just make sure you ask a lot of questions up front!”

“The Stonehurst was the perfect choice for our wedding day!! From our first conversation, Nancy and the team were super proactive about answering questions and made us feel very taken care of. I loved having the bridal bungalow to get ready in, all of my bridesmaids got to relax and eat in the kitchen as well, which was so nice! (It also has AC which is a huge plus). The flower garden provided a STUNNING backdrop for our ceremony, and we had our guests raving about how gorgeous it was. We loved how the bamboo garden offered shade during cocktail hour and it was the perfect space to mingle. For dinner in the greenhouse, we opted for hanging greenery on the celling and on the poles throughout, and it truly transformed the space. There was a huge space for dancing and an outdoor area for people to mingle as well. We can't thank The Stonehurst enough for making our day so special!!”

“For clients looking for a space to enjoy the weekend at home and a space that you can HOST an event too, THIS is the place! Sany on the Hill is stunning. As a vendor, communicating with both the client and the host was seamless. We were able to host our clients 30th birthday here with as many as 50 guests on property comfortably. The hosts were clear about any parking instructions and drop off locations so it helped us immensely when needing to navigate any vendors and guests. The host also let us know that it can be a steep slope coming up so we too were prepared here with any cars or vendors. We had an onsite caterer who set up with a grill top outside on the backyard and licensed bartender on site. I truly look forward to recommending more clients and friends to this beautiful estate and encourage anyone to consider it for their next weekend getaway, shoot, or event. The hosts are so kind so don’t hesitate to communicate your plans with them and they’ll assist you along the way! Can’t wait to be back here again real soon!”

“Heritage Park and Clarke estate are two hidden gem venues I love telling future clients about along with friends and family. Working there as a preferred vendor for nearly 5 years now has been a great experience as a vendor and for my clients as well. Working together with a venue to ensure the couples day is going well without a hitch is very important and let me tell you Leanne and her staff consistently work together and hard to make sure of that. Not only are both venues historic they're also affordable. That is a perfect combination for a venue Especially when people need to accommodate large guests 200-300 guests. Highly recommend both venues I do work more at heritage Park since their guest capacity is 300 but I always look forward to working with Leanne. Always a great experience.”

“SmogShoppe was everything we could have imagined and more. I literally said to my husband after our design meeting that I hate that we would only go to the venue one last time for our big day. Working with Dana was a DREAM, she was so kind, so fun, so on top of it, I just want to be her friend IRL to be honest! The day of, everything flowed so well. Our guests positively loved the space and the vibe of SmogShoppe, we had 75 guests and everyone loved that the space felt so open.
