“Kai was our dj from second song and he did such a phenomenal and exceptional job! He constantly matched the vibe of the night and would even go out of his way to make sure our wedding reception itinerary was moving along seamlessly while we were getting lost in the party! Oh and he was able to play the audio from our ceremony video so everyone could hear it! He made us feel so comfortable throughout the night and was simply just awesome and so enjoyable. We had so many people asking us about our dj throughout the night and following days! He even made sure to not play certain things we asked not to be played even when guests would request songs that didn’t fit what we wanted. Awesome experience! If you’re thinking about it just book them! You’ll thank yourself later!”

“We absolutely loved working with The Hook Club. Our amazing planner, Greenhouse Events, recommended THC, and we were sold immediately after meeting with Dan. He is super relaxed, nice, and so knowledgable. Dan and THC team made planning super easy for us. They took time to hear about our hopes and helped recommend different band sizes for us. We hadn’t heard of a DJ band before, but loved the idea of some live music with the versatility to play all sorts of music, but our venue wasn’t very big and we also didn’t want to break the bank and hire a huge band. We chose the 4 piece DJ band with singer, sax, drums, and DJ. We knew we LOVED the sax, so we also had the sax play for cocktail hour (shout out to Elijah, who was amazing), and it was one of the best parts of the night. For planning music, they sent out a very detailed and thorough spreadsheet with more songs than one could imagine, and we could rate ones we liked the most, choose ones we definitely wanted or didn't, and choose specific songs for important moments. We met a couple times to review music choices as well. One of our biggest fears with a DJ was that they'd talk too much and be a little annoying, but Dan did a great job as MC, and was very low-key like we asked but announced important moments clearly. Dan and all the musicians had such great energy and got everyone on the dance floor. Our vocalist, Christen, was also amazing — her voice was spectacular, and she was such an amazing performer and got everyone involved in the music and dancing. So many people told us how much they loved the music and the energy, and had never heard of a DJ band but thought it was an amazing concept and the addition of live music over tracks added extra excitement and fun. THC also helped out with lighting (uplights and dance lights), and worked with our fantastic planner and the venue to help us decide the best setup. Ultimately, we loved working with THC. Their DJ-band setup is unique and adds so much variety to your music while allowing for some of the energy that comes from live performers. We danced the night away and had an absolute blast. 100% would recommend THC to anyone!”

Each wedding or event I play is full of different people and different ages from all over the world, and they all have differing tastes in music- blending so many different genres and styles of music is such a fun challenge!

“DJ Roman Candles was excellent! He pulled off a set that was beyond our wildest dreams. We had a brief phone meeting a week before the wedding about how we wanted the vibe to be and he pulled it off perfectly. Us and our guests were blown away by his performance. After the wedding, all of our guests were raving how awesome he was! He blended all of our requested genres. The transitions between genres and between songs were spot on! He had all of our guests up and dancing. Our wedding coordinator said he was very easy to work and communicate with. He was very organized and had all the equipment we needed. He also took care of the emcee duties and did an awesome job! He had an app we could use to upload all of our song requests. We found it very useful for organizing the songs we wanted played at each part of the night. He totally killed it and we could not imagine anyone doing better. 10/10. We can’t stop watching videos of how fun the night went! Totally recommend DJ Roman Candles for your wedding or any other events!!!”

“Grooveline was honestly one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. They flew to Taiwan on extremely short notice and still handled everything with total class and professionalism. In terms of value for money, their initial proposal was outside our budget, but they were very willing to work with us and adjust. At the same time, we were blessed that a friend stepped in to cover a large portion of the cost - the timing of everything truly felt like God put it together. Without Grooveline’s flexibility and our friend’s support, this wouldn’t have been possible. We brought 9 people total (7 musicians, a manager, and a sound engineer), and let's just say - they made the night truly unforgettable for all who attended. Traditional weddings in Taiwan are usually quiet and pretty passive, but once Grooveline started playing, guests of all ages rushed to the dance floor. Many said it was the most fun wedding they had ever attended. Even with an open bar, alcohol consumption was low — to us - this just means people were really having the good time sober and really enjoying the high energy and joy the band brought :) We truly feel blessed and gratetul to have the chance to work with them and yes - would absolutely recommend them!”

You’re spending so much money, and it’s honestly nerve-wracking not knowing if everything will live up to what you’re hoping for — especially with such a huge day on the line. But JukeBox is NOT a vendor you need to second-guess. They are worth every single penny!!! David is an incredible MC who kept the entire evening flowing effortlessly. We incorporated a Filipino money dance into our reception, and I was so unsure about what music to use. David patiently worked through my many emails, helped guide me through the decision, and I never once had to second-guess that it would all come together smoothly. On the wedding day, it was seamless. They are a well oiled machine and they operate so flawlessly and are truly such a driving force to the party!! During the planning process, David was always responsive and attentive, and everything felt completely tailored to us. He even professionally cut and edited our first dance and father-daughter dance songs, and they turned out perfectly. Our dance floor was packed all night long & guests are still talking about how amazing the band was just like they still talk about them from my brother-in-law’s wedding.
